RE: pull start vs. spin start
Hello, I'm to new to nitro, I started out with the pull start, didnt like it. I had problems starting my truck, witch had nothing to do w/the pull start. But if you have to keep pulling you will get blisters or the pull start will brake. Electric is somuch easer. You can get a pull start to begin, and update later they are not expensive, this way you decide.

Hello, For $279.99 I bought an exceed 1/8 scale Truggy, It is fun to drive, the only thing you will need is the starter kit $13.00. Do rember this you pay for what you get. I have had a few probles with this truck which were inexpensive to fix. The thing you should buy is a fail switch, witch applys the brakes if you loose battery power, if you dont get this you can loose your nitro power car at 40mph or faster. Stay away from used nitro cars and trucks as you dont know how much life is left in the engins,you could end up buying a new one any were from $60.00 and up. Good luck, and remember any hobby is expensive. P.S nitro fuel is around $40.00 for 4 gal.

I purchased a 1/8 exceed truggy, I have hd a few problems with this truck such as the seals in the front shocks are tourn, a bad servo,the body melted from the exsust, the front left tire wore out, strang thing is the tie rods are even steven, makes no sence. Exceeds customer support is no good, I was on hold for 20min the guy was rude, he said he would send me the parts and hung up on me without taking any of my info. If you are in the market for a R/C vehicle, and dont want to go through the hassel of probles, I here good things about Red Cat And Himoter racing. The appear to be the same, but with larger engins, differnt brakes, differnt upper and lower controll arms and different bodys.

Hello Andy. I ordered the 1/8 truggy, order # raidentech168-195346. I have a few issues, #1 my front shocks wont stop leaking, I took the apart and found the top seal is torn, and the dust boots are torn.#2 my servo is bad it locks when steered to the left, It does the same when the steering is off the servo w/ no resistens it turns to the right fine but locks to the left.#3 my left tire wore down, I did measure the tie rods before driving it and the were the same, dont under stand.#4 the exsaust melted my body, The truck is not runng to lean for this to happen dont under stand this one eaither. I called the phone number after 15min I reached somone how was very rud and after going back and fourth for 20min he said he would take care of this and he hung up on me, he did not take my name,number or address, so I dont know how he would take care of me. Hello, I have your exceed 1/8 scale truggy, I have a few issues. #1 the front shocks will not stop leaking, #2 the truck steers to the right fine but not the left, it appears that the servo is bad as whe I took the linkage off the steering did not bind, and the servo will stay in place when turned to the left when you let go of the steering wheel.#3 the front left tire wore out , before driving I did cheak the camber,and the upper tie rod did match the right side and still does, Other that these issues I am happy with our product.
