You can but the futaba spektrum module and it will work fine in the opic 6 and the eclipse 7

i used 7mm ply for the sides, front, back and i used 3mm ply for the bottom. yep mine is 18" long

the 11.1 volts runs through the speedy and the bec reduces the voltage down to 6 volts and the 6 volts powers the reciever, giving all of the ports 6 volts to run servo's, cooling fans etc

you should be able to plug it in all futaba, spektrum, jr, hitec plugs are the same, but airtronics and sanwa need the plug modified
