Do I need a 6 or 7 channel receiver?
I have an electric FW190 I'm trying to complete with the following controls. Throttle, single elevator, and rudder. Dual aileron, and flap servo's. It also has Electric retracts. I'm assuming some type of Y on the flaps, or reversing the head of the servo. I don't want a Y on the ailerons. Link to product page. http://www.vqwarbirds.com/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=44&osCsid=7170e5c1e9d2c94f5610a3d8c2d528ca Thanks

RE: 60 size ARF
I had a pulse for my second plane. I now have 2 in different sizes, and wish they had a bigger one.

RE: Tank mount in older planes
I put my tank in the normal spot. I had a 3 line system with a fuel dot, line to the carb, and vent running out the bottom. I ran an Evolution 26. I had the RX pack shoved most of the way under the servo tray and the ignition battery (2 cell lipo) in front of that. Balanced out perfectly.

RE: Second Plane - H9 Pulse 125 XT?
I have the mini and 25 (my 2nd plane). Love them! I added a 3rd bolt to the gear, and no wheel pants for our grass feild. I just wish the 125 had an 80 inch wing. It would defiantly have one then.

RE: Larger electric airplane
You might look into VQ warbirds. I got a good deal from Hobby People. It has a battery hatch on the side.

You might look at the VQ warbirds. I got a good deal on a 60 sized FW 190 from hobby people. It has a battery hatch on the side.

Not really into stik's. A friend of mine let me fly his and I was inverted and didn't know it a couple of times. I'll look into the Super Sportster. Thanks

RE: 4* 120 replacement using my Evolution 26
Yep that would be the former owner and pilot of the 260. Flutter induced by the stripping out of the aileron servo gears. I saw cut across the field in front of me got nervous when it when they started to yell at me and looked over my shoulder and I would guess a on the other side of the taxi way heading back toward the field. It went in on the taxi way just behind me. At that point I was totally distracted and my plane auto piloted itself to the ground.

4* 120 replacement using my Evolution 26
I'm looking for a replacement for my 4* 120 lost it yesterday when I had to duck and dodge 27% extra that ended up crashing behind the pilot stations out of control. I guess I should be happy I wasn't hurt the div-it about 5 to 7 feet away from where I was flying. It has to be an ARF I don't have time, or skills to build. I would prefer to have a 2 piece wing. IMAA legal Thanks

RE: Brushless Motor Brands
No the 380 is smaller sorry for any confusion. It might fly with the 380 but will be under powered. I would personly go with a 450 or 480. I googled the motor in question and pulled up the united hobby site and they had some choices in the 400 and 480 at a lower price .

RE: Flying Field Access
This is an interesting subject as were taking up the question of visitors this weekend. I think the general thought will be to go with the 3 day limit with the provision to extend on an individual basis. Example if you fly for a week give 5 for the mower. We also have an associate for 15 a year with no voting rights currently. This is coming up for us for two reasond. One our field was covered in the past by the LHS insurance and now the leased and we have an extra insurance policy. Two we have another club in town that we offered a reciprical membership for 10 a year and they refused for the most part, and still come to the field as guests. AMA is required for members and guest.

RE: Official Hobby Zone
Hey all I've been thinking about resurecting the cub. Had the ESC catch on fire. I got the fire out pretty quickly and only a little foam melted away. I have a extra motor and ESC on a plane that I just didn't like the way it flew. What I have is the A2208/12 would this work in my super cub?http://www.suppomodel.com/ It's the A2208/12 1800KV A2208/12 AUW range is 200 - 500 g 2 or 3 cell lipo. I was thinking of using a 2 cell lipo on a ubec for power and a regulare receiver pack for the receiver and servos. Thanks

Hanger9 Extra260 Engine suggestions
I’m looking for advice on an engine for my 260. http://www.hangar-9.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=HAN2750 The DA 50 a little out of my price range right now. I got a Fuji BT-50SB with the plane deal. I know nothing about the engine, and it doesn’t look like it will line up on the fire wall very well. Its foot print looks to be almost to the corners of the box. The previous owner had another engine attached so it has holes already in the fire wall. That will be another question fill in the holes with dowels and epoxy or cut the old plywood out and replace it. Thanks
