jaja thanks for the videos ,,,you are rigth i need some confidence after building the dag r2 and not be able to make one fligth,,,i got a litle frustated ,,but after seen videos of the dag 60 how it floats in the air ,,i want one . Now,, i could not tell by the videos the angle of the mast,,,if i build it as per plan will be ok ?actually at this point on the building changing the mast angle will be a litle challenge.. im waiting for some balsa wood to build the horizontal stabilizer and rudder so after all these part are in place ,i can start to play with the cg of it....and then another question i have is i'll have to hold full elevator up for take off? again thanks for those videos ,,,

[size=3]ok i have some questions here you migth be able to help me on the dag 60 autogyro im building ,,,,i had build the dag40 and i had no luck trying to take off try aerobalsa blades,also blades i build from plans and keep fliping over ,breaking stringers,blades, elevator,could not get one fligth etc,,,finally i sold it ,but i seen videos of the dag 60 and looks like everybody has good times with it,plus i like the idea of having one autogyro ,ok now im building the dag 60 im thinking that because it has and elevator will be easier to put it in the air ,,will be more like a plane ,but,,,im using hard balsa im most of the construction means more weigth,(reason why...more strength),my question is how much is supost to be the final weigth if there's any?if it's heavier is goin to snap/breake the rotor blades on take off or fligth?im goin to glue sig airfold to hard 1/8 balsa when is time to build the blades .still i have to build the elevator install all the electric,servos landing gear..so weigth keep coming up..im thinking on a 91 4 stroke magnum i have new in a box... another question i have is that i seen guys using a round plate for the rotor base ,should i stick to the plans and do what the plans show?what will be the difference on using this round rotor plate? sorry for all these questions ,im not and expert on autogyros,, im ataching some pics you'll see the changes im goin to make on the top of it to save weigth by not using balsa blocks ,,,just stringers ,,,,also is goin to have that round look. also you can see that i use brasswood stringers on the sides ,,reason,past experiences with the other dag they broke in a fail take off [/size] im goin to see if i can weigth it and give you an exact weigth of it ,,, thanks for all the answers and help you can provide me on this build ...

thi site www.whirlybirdaviation.com has some nice autogyro models ,,,plans you can order from them,,,i order a plan for the dag r2 like a week ago an im still waiting so i don't know how the plan looks but acording to the site they flt pretty nice...and they look really nice...i did a litle research and you have to buy the rotor thats like 48 bucks ,,plus blades ,higth torque servos ,plans,,,,,you will be around 160$ for the dag r2 all done ,,,probably you can get it done for less if you find the free plans ,,,

mini dv camera
hi guys probably somebody experience the same and can help me with my onboard camera i got one from china its a new mini dv that records 640x480 30m frames per second the camera works great OUT of the plane ,,in your house ,outside etc ,,when you monted on the plane the vibration is to much for it ,,i try almost everything ,i raped it in foam ,,mount the engine on rubber bushings and still i don`t have a clear video i made some progress but still the video is all shaking ,,,the only crystal clear video i have is when the engine stop in the air and i had to glide the plane to land it .... a i almost forgot i paid only 34$ for it ,,,

on the niuport 28 from proctor the top wing its ok with no glue in between the two half? its enougth the two brackets and gide pins to hold the half wings ,or glue need to be used to join them? anybody knows what its the best to hold the halfs together ,instructions do not mention any glue at all,but the wing looks a little fragile without glue .... thanks for your help ...

i had problems with plans that i got from arizona ,i got 5 sheet of not detail plans for a fokker eindecker i paid 50$ for them and i tougth that i can build it from there but the wing warping system is not really clear how it works and these plans don`t show in detail like proctor plans for example .... i guess they sell the kits/plans all together for some reason ,,,,looks like these types of plans is useless if you don`t have the kit....

i bought the slim muffler to fit in my new proyect ,,,(niuport 11)the engine that im goin to used is the os .61 ,,,,it does not has pressure fitting so i ask to the manufacture if i can install one and they say that they don`t recomended ,,,,,because they never did it ,,,,,,,my question is how im goin to pressurize the fuel tank?,,,, its posible to install a pressure fitting in this type of muffler ..... somebody has one installed ,,,,, the muffler is just to pipes that with an squeare box at the end that goes atach to the engine .... thanks for your help,....

to all rc universe members , be carefull ,,,,,somebody bought my 91os engine ,it`s an non-member,,after waiting for more than 2 months for the payment i told this guy that i sold the engine to somebody else in the field,this guy told me no problem i had my son in the hospital ,etc etc.., i send you the check anyway ,deposit it in your account deduct the amount of the value of the engine for the inconvinience and then tranfer the rest of the money from your account to my account (in western africa,republic of benin)?..or some place like that..
