I have a wemotec min-fan and a mega 16-15-2 motor that i have bench tested runing 4s1p 2300 a123 pack it pulles 54 amps with freashly charged pack but it soon drops to 45 amps as volts sag, under load. I was woundering if anyone could post a picture of a super sniper battery compartment so I can see how large it is,I have heard that people are using 2 2s1p lipo packs in their 4s super snipers to get it to balance right, I could do the same with my a123 packs.

I have been having problems getting the ruder to center on the vapor the transmitter trims don't work, I have either full right or left, no adjustment pots on the servo board.

I have a knight 50 glow heli, am new to helis, currently am using 3 jrds821 servos on the swash plate, had one servo brake at the spline shaft at the top of the servo,plastic too britle, and have had another stop working, what are your experiences with these servos.

Evolution 35 gas carb adjustment
I have lost my manual and would like to know what are the base high and low needle settings. Engine is in a pattern plane with apc 17-13 and tunned pipe was running good not now.

charging NMH on trition
I have a new 4500nimh 5 cell pack that will not charge more than 300-400milamp, also several other times i have charged nimh on the triton it has indicated that it finised charging a 1000miliamp, on about six diferent ocations this can not be coincidence.

RE: A123 pack life in real world uses?
I have a hxt-63-64b motor,sentilion-100amp hv speed control,2 6s1p a123 packs in series for 12s1p in a e-coverted 4*60. Two 6s1p packs just fit where the tank was,tank floor still in pace,hatch in top of fuse.Duration is 6-7 minets with alot of full power used, amp draw 35-40amps, bateries are only warm. I flew this plane for years with a OS91fX,even though it is heavier it is more than a mach for the OS I think the larger 18-12 prop helps the perfomance alot.

running gas ignition engines on E85 ethanol
I have an evolution 35gt in a Sword pattern plane, apc17-13 prop, in flight rpm 8500. One of the advantages of a sperate cycliner head is you can rase the comprestion without affecting the timing. One thing I would like to hear from somone with expirience, is it better to run alcahol on glow or ignition power wise, also you need a synthetic oil that will mix with alcahol. Also is there enough ajustment on the walbro carb to richen the mixture without going to a different carb. i

I test flew my 140 sword over th weekend and am pleased with the way it flys, even though its over 11lbs it flys well.What props and rpm are you guys geting, I have a Evolution 35gt gas withe tunned pipe and am swinging a 17-13apc at 8300rpm it has unlimited vertical.

Thats texasrcplanes.com sorry. recieved the plane Quality looks good for a $200.00 ARF, the manual is junk looks like it was printed out on a home PC, the only problem I see with the plane at the start of the project is the tube in the tail for the aluminum tube for the stab is not square with the fuse, when you slide the stabs on their are large 1/4 inch gaps. wings look good, covering looks good but color do not match red cowl. using Evolution 35 because I already have it , had it first in a chip Hyde Tunnel Vission 3d plane that turned out over weight too, I think I can the plane fliying at under 12lb should fly well at 4hp. I like the evolution 35 engine but their are not many Arfs made for 35cc engines, and none for 35cc engines with tunned pipes. Evolution 35 only gets about 3hp with pits muffler da50 get 5hp with pits and weighs less. pattern plane best fit for engine I could find.

I have just recently started using a123 cells in a 12s1p configeration,2x 6s1p,I am also biulding some 4s1p packs for use in smaller plane with axi 2820-10,at th present time i am charging with 2 FMA Direct balance pro HD chargers, and a large deep cycle marine battery 730 cold cranking amps, I dont see any total amp hour rating on the battery. I think this battery is big enough to last all day at the flying field charging 2 packs at a time,the down side is its a heavy battery to move about.

I have just started converting my old glow 4*60 as a test bed for my new hxt-63-64b motor,ocmre 100amp esc,12s1p a123 batteries have just static tested the motor with a apceE 17*12 prop and it only pulls 36 amps. Also I wieghed the batteries and it came out a 2 1/4 lb I had planed on a12s2p in a different plane like a sig rascle 110 but at 4 1/2 lbs that seams too much weight.I have looked on the internet for some cheaper lipos and have noticed that some suplyers are still selling lipos rated at 5 and 10c in the 5000-8000mah range that are not as expencive, which is better a 6 minute flight and 15 minute charge If you had two batteries you could fly almost continuosly, or a very large lipo that you could get 3 10minutes flights per charge.

25glow combat
I have a 25size scale combat plane I am converting to E-power,setup AXI2820-10,thunderdird54 speed control, 4s1p a123 M1 cells, bench test 520watts APC1010E should unload in flight some. Have not finished plane yet but I think it will have better performace than a glow 25.

rebilt my blade cp pro last week for the 5th time,got my futaba 9c working with exp on the blade cp pro, two more crashes this blade cp is a total pice of junk,saved servos and reciver trashed the rest. Three weeks ago i just wanted to see if one of these cheap electric helis would fly like the simulator,now i am totaly pissed and going to get a 50 size glow heli just to prove i can fly it.[&o]

I recently started to fly cp pro, my first heli found the transmiter that came with the cp pro way to sensative with no programable expo, I replced reciver cristal so i could use my futaba 9c,programed -50expo aile elev rudd flys worse than before crahed hard had some of the setup off and did not have any revo mix programed. I have flown rc planes for 7 years 3d for last 3,have flown helis on aerofly professional deluxe flight sim for over a year and can fly the sim fine even 3d heli moves, I have been told the sim dont simulate turbulance when hovering extremely low to ground. Geting frustrated with helis after two weeks
