skyern, I work on tons of motors with walboro pump type carb as this engine has on it. I find in most of them there is not much rpm change from half to full especialy if your running loaded on the ground. I wonder what you will see for RPM's in the air? I bet you will see more like 5k. just my 2 cents. andy

Does anyone have info on installing larger cylinders on the OS fr5? I need this diameter engine or something under 11" but would like 5 cylinders. Also, Depth is an issue as well. not more then 6.25" Thnanks Andy

RE: FR5-300 Sirius radial being discontinued?
Bax, In your opinion will an FR5-300 pull a yellow Aircraft AT-6 in a scale manner or are we way under powered? It will finish up at around 28-30 pounds. I see 4 bhp on the FR and a G-62 is about the same HP but torque is the big deal.
