RE: KINGTECH X JETCAT X JETCENTRAL X WREN
I have JC, Wren and now Kingtech’s. JC runs as it should and my dealings with Bob Wilcox have been Great. My Wrens run as they should and my dealings with Wren have been good as well. Sara was great when she was there. Now I deal with Ron and have nothing bad to say about his service. My Kingtech 140’s run better than advertised, making more thrust than there rated 31 lbs. I have one with about 6 to 7 hrs on it and it has been flawless. I am so impressed with this turbine I now own 3. Barry is always there for a phone call and does what he says he will do. I have two JC, two Wrens and three Kingtech’s

RE: KingTech K-140 on sale now
Thanks Barry I couldn’t help myself with the price you have the 140 at. Let me tell you guys that the 140’s are a power house. I do all my testing at 7400ft and the 140’s put out between 28 and 29 pounds of thrust. With every other turbine I have tested I lose at least 20% some more. So I know these turbines are under rated. The 140’s spool up in about 3 sec. Our flying field is at 5400 ft. and in the summer we have a density altitude of 10000 ft. a lot and it still spools up fast. I have about 10 hrs on one of the 140’s and it has been trouble free. Barry’s service is the best. George [:)]
ORIGINAL: BaldEagel The only petrol/kero stoppers I have found that are reliable are the Dubro red stoppers, they have an 0 on the top. The Sullivan stoppers I have never been successful with, after about three months they disintegrate. Mike If you can get the leads out of the airframe hang them in front of your air conditioning in the car that dry's them out nicely, I did this to my mobile phone after it dropped out of my top pocket into the loo whilst I was bending over cleaning it for my elderly mother.
+1 the red ones are the only ones that work.

RE: Dual valve as a single?
I don’t know about that, I think the spring air valve has a port to let the air out. If you use a normal valve won’t all your air go out the other side? If you plug the other side how will it let the air out?

RE: The new Tornado sport jet
The way I look at it is, if Henry would be upfront about taking the falcon and upgrading a few things no one would have anything to complain about. But telling us that it is a new designed wing with the long gear still in it, then telling us that it was left that way so the struts would bend and not tare the landing gear mounts out, how about the crappy canopy just like the falcon or formers falling out, same crappy glue……..come on are we that stupid. Now on the V3 there have been some good improvements with the carbon fiber, but why still leave the falcon long gear in it. Anyone on the ball knows that Henry modifies the Falcon……… Great. But don’t lie about it. If someone was to get a Falcon and add the covering and carbon fiber it would cost about $300 add labor and you are at 400 to 500. So the price is not unreasonable.

So the BVM comes without formers in it. So you don't have to knock them out and re glue correct?

RE: K140
My 140’s sound like an afterburner kicking in when I go to full power. I used to have to put power in a little before the up line, but with the 140’s I just put it in at show center and pull up.

RE: K140
When I tested my 140 's at 7400ft the thrust loss was only 10% from the advertised thrust, everything else I have tested lost around 20%. So the engines that I have tested have under rated the thrust.

RE: K140
I have a P120SX rated at 31# thrust and the Kingtech K140 rated at 31# the Kingtech puts out way more than the JC at 5400ft. There is no comparison between the two. The Kingtech spools up so much faster and the power is amazing.

K140
I just want to tell everyone how impressed I am with the K140. I put it in a old rookie I have, that had a P120 in it, the 140 runs flawlessly, 5 hrs on it and the power is amazing. I had a guy come up to me yesterday that sees me fly jets all the time and said ( man that jet is fast) he couldn’t believe it when I told him that I was flying most of the time at ½ throttle except the up lines. Barry’s service is second to none. Thanks Barry

If you put a restrictor in the line (to slow down the gear) in the wrong spot that will also cause the nose gear not to lock down
