RE: KCRC Spring 424 & 426 Race - April 28th
Have fun everyone. Take lots of pics for this relocated MOkan man. Good luck trying to keep the Missile from taking all the hardware back to Springfield, he's good, plus he will be less handicapped without his lack luster caller. If you can't stop the Missile, please keep those Flatlanders off the podium... [:D]

NMPRA Forum New Home
The NMPRA Forum has been moved to better serve the pylon community and NMPRA membership: http://www.nmpraforum.com/index.php The increased server HP, updated version of MySQL and PHP, and dedicated domain name should improve the overall member experience with NMPRA Forum. If we see the same issues start to creep in over the next month, we'll have to re-evaluate. There will likely be a few kinks to work out so I do appreciate your patience and will gladly accept cold refreshments at next race (turned out to be a lot more freak'n work then I anticipated, %&$# MySQL databases)

Sign me up. You're going down WC, been working on my reaction times all winter on this new Jeg's iPhone app. :) Plus, I'll have Lyle bring the NOS bottle off his bike. Giddy-up Mini-van.

Great looking Birds Marty. Lyle can definitely sling some clear. Garys, Just be careful who you bench race with, Fast Eddie Jump has smoked more Utah racers then he will probably admit too. You'll just be another notch on his flight line box. ;) Got your back Eddie, just like you told me on the phone, Gary is a total HeeHaw, HeeHaw. You can take him with ease. :)

Lee, Start making plans for a late September trip. Either way, save a little time for staying with us here in Rapid City on the way. Think I still owe you a couple nights room and board. On second thought, probably best if don't race in Billings, those Montana boys are mad fast. You'd probably would get lapped. :) AJ

Ed, Great to see you getting racing going again in the Bigsky country. Look forward to hitting these races next year. Though I will admit I'm not nearly as seasoned (salty and tough like jerky) as the veterans Earl, Leon, and Darrol. ;) Keep up the good work.

Lonnie, Bring your Shoestring so RBTHNTR64 can check it out. Or did you crash it? [;)] Gordon, We have all had those races. You did the right thing to leave the Pogo in the car. Somedays the Pylon Gods are angry, you must stop the offerings at some point. [8|] AJ

Lonnie, thanks for the offer to show me around the poles. I'll try to stay out of everyone's way... [:D] I loaned my EF1 Pogo to my father for their first race in Billings, MT in 10+ years. Which just happens to be the same weekend as KCRC, need to make sure they're aware of that scheduling conflict. Since because Billings, MT and Kansas City, MO are always competing for the same pilots. [;)] Parts showed up from DCRC today. Lock and load.

Congrats to all the winners and the great KCRC club for delivering another first-class event. Keep up the great work everyone. I’ve been out of MO for a couple days. I don’t have more pictures to post but I did come across some great pics on the WIPRO website. In case you missed them, I encourage you to check them out. http://www.q500424.com/Race_Detail_2010/race_pictures14.htm For all the Flak I’ve given the WIPRO guys the last year, they are a really fun group to race with, put on great races, and always have great coverage. NMPRA District 5 is where it’s at. Keep it going guys. I’ll be cheering for ya’ll in SD… AJ

RE: KCRC Fall 424/426 2-Day Race
The KCRC Fall Pylon Race is in the books. Thanks to all that came out to support this event. I’m dubbing this “The Largest 424 Race in the United States and will continue to until I see higher entry totals. :) Highlights: - 2 days of 424 and 426 action - 25 registered in 424 both days - 10 registered pilots in 426 on Saturday, 8 426 pilots on Sunday - Incredible competition in both classes, close races heat after heat - INCREDIBLE steak dinner Saturday night by Chop and Sarah Ulledahl, sorry Cranfill, you ain’t got nothing on Chop - Seasoned work force, 1 re-fly in 100 heats of racing - 1st place fly-off Sunday between Duane and Lonnie will go done as one of the best 424 heats of all time - The best starter ever, 16 year old Logan - Tear jerking farewell speech and card given to me during the award ceremony by my bud Ken Van Tyle. Very much appreciated to all that signed the card and donated to the relocation fund. - Clean Sweep Tallman making his presence known in both classes, both days. Proving in many heats and overall that Old Age and Treachery does in fact beat Youth and Exuberance. - Jim Padelt joining us from SoCal. - Stealing Lonnie’s Fast Time in 426 by .03 seconds, sorry bud. - 3 year old Emma Ulledahl cheering dad and grandpa on in the final 426 heat over the PA system I’m sure I’ll think of more highlights once the exhaustion starts to reside. I’ve gotten too much credit for the success of this event. It’s a group of people that makes it happen. My personal thanks to CD Craig White, Robert Williams, Duane Hulen, Kelly Hulen, the Hulen family and friends for providing the #1 workforce, Lonnie Finch, Steve Engleman, Rick Hobbs, Mike McFarland, and the other dozen KCRC members that make this event possible. THANK-YOU. I will post the results and photos in the next couple days. Once again, thank-you to all the pilots that came out to support this event. 30+ registrations both days is simply AWESOME! Congrats to the winners, you guys earned it. AJ
