What is your "idle" throttle opening? I learned the hard way that the throttle arm had to be open at least 1/8 " travel before any thing happened.

You might try opening the throttle about 1/8 of an inch (of throttle arm travel). My engine would not start at all until I did this. It took a trip back and forth to the builder until I figured it out. In my case a closed throttle was exactly that "no throttle"!

Same setup
I'm running the same MACs header & Hanson muffler, OS#8 using a Master airscrew Scimitar 18X8, YS 20/20 RPM arout 8500, Very quiet setup, In a 12 lb Troybuilt One Design (Dr-109). The higher nitro seems to help the idle more than the higher top end. If you can't get the Hanson muffler, a Youngblood 60 sized heli muffler will work with up to a 1.6 cu inch engine
