Have you flown your new P-51 with the 30 Amp ESC and with the new prop?? I better that will give you plenty of overhead. I believe in at least 20-25% bigger ESC rating for the minimal cost.

You might want to wait to see if your new P-51 comes with a 30-Amp ESC like mine. Personally, I believe a 25 to 30 amp ESC should be perfect allow a little overhead or margin to the system. I think its important NOT to skimp on the ESC. How many P-51s have gone down in this way??? Astro

Dreddan Question for ya? After you did the rudder and tried the 2100 mah battery packs, was their any need to rebalance the airplane? A few folks have said that using different battery sizes does nothing to the CG. Can you comment on your experience? Thanks, Astro

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf
I just bought a new Mustang BNF and it came with a 30 Amp ESC. It has the same motor as the Corsair but I have not found any specs on this motor. Can anyone help me here. I'd like to take the Mustang prop to 10 X 8 for a bit extra speed and power but I don't want to burn my motor or ESC. Perhaps you guys have done some research on this configuration????

RE: Parkzone NEW BRUSHLESS (YES!!!) P-51 Mustang RTF and BNF
It would be nice to know what the motor will pull and if placing a 10X 8 prop will max it out. The "480 size 960Kv" motor smells alot like the EFlite 480 910kv motor. That pulls 20 Amps, 25 amps max. I'm pretty confident that with a 30 Amp ESC and a "480 Size" motor I should be good. I won't use full throttle more that 10-15 sec for loops anyways. I do have a Watt meter and I'll give you guys some readings. I definitely think that a 25-30 Amp ESC should be standard here so we have a bit of margin. I'm happy I have a 30 Amp ESC. I live in Florida and summers are hot as He!! even at 500 feet!

RE: Parkzone NEW BRUSHLESS (YES!!!) P-51 Mustang RTF and BNF
Bogangles and PKH, Do you have any specs on the stock Mustang/Corsair motor (480 size 960Kv). PKH made a good point about whether my motor will handle the larger prop. I would image that a 480 size motor would have no problem but draw more AMPs at WOT. maybe 25 Amps?? Does anyone have any data on this motor or has done any testing with a 10 X 8 or 10 X 7 prop using a 30 Amp ESC??? I believe the stock prop is a 9 X 6???

Perhaps I missed it but has anyone tried the Parkzone 10 X 8 size prop on the Mustang. I just opened my Mustang BNF up and I noticed that the ESC is an "EFlite 30 AMP Pro". I thought this was an 18 Amp model. Oh well!!!! I'm going to use Hobbycity 2200maH 11.1 20C batteries on her. She should fly forever!!! I'll let you know...

In reference to: " I drilled out the Master Airscrew prop hole with a 5/16 drill bitfit the PARK ZONE RTF F-4U CORSAIR USE COUPON CODE TEN0507 FOR 10% OFF YOUR ORDER! Corsair perfectly. The stock-or factory prop is a 9/7.5has "fatter"paddle blades, but in my opnion just doesn't give the performance the nitro prop will. I am fitting a Zinger 10/4 3 blade nowlet you know the results. I like the looks of the 3 blade on a Corsair. " I too love the three blade look and was wondering if you can tell us whether you had any luck with the Zinger 10/4 3 blade prop that you were going to try? Also, I was wondering were one might purchase the prop on line. Thanks, Astro

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf
Can you tell us whether the DX5 has a plug to take a battery pack like the DX6/7 or can you charge the 8 alkies through a side charging port. I hate using 8 regular batteries on a tx because you never know what there energy level is.. I'll looking to order on this week. I'd like to get a DSM2 TX/rx cheap because I don't believe the AR500 is capable of binding with an older DX6. Correct?
