RE: Saab Draken expert needed
ok guys to understand what I need to think it is better to post a dwg file As you can see I brought all (36?) the ordinates of the fuselage. but what I need are the frames in proportion to the Top View. I did a little of comparisons and it seems that the frames are not mirrored to the side and top views. in addition it must be said that shows only the main frames but those of the tail and those of the "nozzle" terminal are not present. (I need to find those too!).

RE: Chino airshow 2012
ORIGINAL: Chad Veich This was the only pic I took of the Airacomet which, like Ken noted above, did not look any different externally this year then it did last year. I overheard Steve Hinton last year say that it could be done in a month if they concentrated their resources on it. Makes me wonder why they put so much money and effort into the static Judy when they could have had the P-59 up and flying. Oh well, maybe next year. More photos from the show coming later this evening. Chad, I talked to Ed Maloney on Friday before the show and asked him when the P-59 would be ready. He said the big hold up was finding a fuel sponser to be able to fly the aircraft. As to Steven circling the airport in the Yak on the same Friday, we had changed some of the coolant hoses. Steven had not flown the Yak since last years show and he wanted to be sure the coolant system was leak free before he went off to play. His grin when he landed was proof that he was having a great time getting used to the Yak again.
the was cause the increase of the economic crisis but have failed to find funding to continue the work. previous years are still managed with countless efforts to find a lot of electrical equipment that now resides inside the plane. Even the engine was either donated (I think ... but I do not remember very well that it was given directly by the staff of the air forces). However, next year is a goal that the museum billed to finish. ps i hope to build this aircraft the next year, "my goal would be to build this aircraft in scale 1/5.7 but now I miss several measures ... We hope to be able to find them.[8|]

RE: Chino airshow 2012
Ken thk. i've got to be able to speak directly with Andy (museum director) and I had been exposed to what were their aims and problems of this aircraft as do the years passed. He actually had said that many months would pass. but in practice i having information of the progress of the work almost every day I hear about the progress made and the time of full restoration of the medium that definitely will be back 'to fly. However, I will take 'in this situation also to monitor the progress of the work and if you manage to get in touch with Bob Velker responsible for restoration work.

RE: F-104G what kind of profile to use??
Hi Steve Yes I understand! .... is also my intention .... in fact I'm looking for someone who can help me to understand what could be the ideal profile for this type of wing (not quite easy to make) someone suggested I try a Hm airfoil but i still do not have the complete code. I sincerely would like to opt for the profile of the Habu but I have no more 'idea what it is.

RE: F-104G what kind of profile to use??
ORIGINAL: jeffk464 It better come out very light or its going to fly like a brick
Hi jeffk464 and I-NAV do not worry I already thought that this! . the wing has a root of 36.8 cm and 16.4 cm for 27,?cm to length with a shoulder to tip of 4cm. servants are housed in the most 'of the thick wing. the skeleton of the 'plane is made entirely of balsa wood and the exterior fiberglass 25g m2. wings coated in polystyrene. account to be around 1.500 kg with a fan from 90 to 4 kg of thrust!. (if feasible). do not worry I have no pretensions, and if I fail I know where to start. However, we shall soon see.[:D]

RE: F-104G what kind of profile to use??
ORIGINAL: deatonbt I am not sure if this is the information that you are looking for.  Here is a website that contains plot points for many airfoils.  I could not find one for the F-104 bioconvex 3.6% http://www.ae.illinois.edu/m-selig/ads/coord_database.html Other than to read papers and look at pictures that I can't really understand and sound knowledgeable, it is all that I came across.  The F-104 is listed as bioconvex 3.6%.  My simple mind can understand Wiki, but I am not sure if that counts.  <img src=''http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/49_49.gif'' alt='''' /> http://www.ae.illinois.edu/m-selig/ads/aircraft.html
Hi deatonbt a profile is simply a biconvex AIRFOIL two convexity "precisely" biconvex profiles. an example would be like the one mentioned in the previous post. 3.6% indicates the decrease or the increase of the crest of a profile "extrados" and consequently the change of a airfoil. Exemple: one sample is NACA 2412 airfoil if you taken as taking and decreasing or increasing by 3.6% of the ridge "polare" would be an increase or a reducing of flitters or Reynold (speed 'with which you measure everything streamlined' a wing and the criticality of it "STALL O stripping of the surface or other other physical phenomena) the flitters are not be other with filaments of air, over at on one above the other gliding over a surface. that slide in contact with the surface traveling more 'faster than those who sit on top of and as they move away from the surface more' the speed labor '"Lower".

RE: F-104G what kind of profile to use??
Hi Guys thanks for the link!.......... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm![:o] This is not good! However, I think I found a substitute to what could be for the true airfoil and the substitute is Goe 445 or boeing Vr-9( http://www.worldofkrauss.com/foils/287 http://www.worldofkrauss.com/foils/1589 ). someone know this airfoil?. would be able to tell me whether it is a viable SOLUTIONS to these wings. I saw that file to this, and has a low profile on Be and Bu and the flitters seem to pass very quickly.

RE: F-104G what kind of profile to use??
Hi Charlie P. THK for replay[:)] HA HA HA HA HA yessssssss! [:D][:D] also for me [:D]. this is for a long time this aircraft was successfully used by many international forces, despite the "bad name" to be a plane with a wing loading significantly reduced "an rocket with wings[:D] ". and this is an aircraft that requires much effort and attention to be piloted in the "f-104 does not forgive mistakes!" but this has obviously affected the feelings of the pilots have had when flying with this aircraft. made in between the pilots received an estimate over time than that and a still from a distance of 20 years sene hear with regret. Absolutely yes! I know the reputation that has this plane! I know his ability as a 'flight. and that's why I groped to experience a wing loading similar but not identical to the real thing ... a plane model must have this too! Thanks for the designs but more 'what else I'm looking for advice on such profiles might be better for this aircraft. except the usual profile like NACA 2412 or clark. I would like to know from you what things you might be better.
