RE: Reaction ARF - PST/BTE All-Composite Sport Jet
leopaul, in our field there are two reactions (short) nose with rabbit power. I built one of them and I didn't need to install the nose weight included with the kit. I do opened an access hatch up front in order to accommodate the batts all the way in the nose. Like in this one. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7158450/mpage_29/key_/tm.htm

RE: How do they do composites.
Jim the sticky problem was only in the parting board. The mold came off the part very easy with no work at all. But yes the walls of the mold that was held on the parting board was different story, They came off with no much effort but they do stick to the parting board. I guess cause I did not seal the parting board prior to wax. For me make the first part I'm very happy with the results. But I'm open to listen all opinions to make it better next time. Thanks for your comments.[;)] Alex

RE: Turbine Prices? Consider this...
And what about the sellers? Do they ask for a waiver when chance to sell a turbine arise? To my club went one guy I never seeing before with a brand new K-80!!! He acquired it at this last FJ2010. Wow finally a K-80 to compare! Well not to Wow. This guy never flew an RC plane in his life before. I mean He was asking for someone to fly his AT-6. The type of guys that buys everything but looks for some one else to use it. All the guys are wondering where this guy will try to fly his Turbine. I just see some Pics in another forum where the same guy was showing a nice electric F-100. Well the guy who flew it was the most recent sponsored 3D pilot from PR. Not the owner. This is putting our hobby in danger in our area. So to all the PR gang that read this open your eyes and be aware. You guys know who this guy is. For the good of the hobby, stay alert. Alejandro

RE: How to avoid rc aircraft burning?
Yes there is a perfect method to avoid a total loss. But I'm sure you don't want to use it. Is this pretty simple one. [:D] DO NOT FLY IT [:D] I'm also do not use the internal propane gas tank for extra safety precaution. Not all the crashes end with a fireball. But most of the time even if there is no major damage is best to send in the engine for inspection. One of my friend had an accident with a bobcat resulting in a totaled airframe. Turbine was looking great with no visual damage. Until he received the inspection report from Carlos RTI. You wont believe what he found inside the engine. Engine was repaired and waiting for its new frame right now. Alex
