RE: Problems with HPI Trophy Truggy Flux
i think that can happen to any product /brand ..with the way we use these cars/trucks theyre prone to breakage.and they have weak parts that are ready to break no matter how careful you use it.idk if its just me but i got used to not going home until i break a part or until my truck/car is running.

do you have 2speed?you can adjust the set screw on the 2speed..you should turn it in to engage right away or turn it out to delay the engagement.

RE: mamba max/motor combo owners set up question???
the one i bought is mamba max pro with 1900kv motor..isnt that under powered for a rc8be?i thought the mamba max pro was the mamba max monster..i forgot theyre different..cause he was using it on rc8be thats why i assumed it was for 8th scales..so i can run it with or without BEC right? is that what this statement means?? "Switching BEC powers your radio and servo all the way up to the 6S max input."

i just got a used 3 times mamba max combo (as per the seller)..he told me he used a glitch buster for his spektrum and thats it.i use futaba 3pk so i dont think i need that.but i wanted to know if i needed aN EXTERNAL BEC for it if im using 4s 14.8v lipos?any one with mamba max uses BEC to avoid frying the esc and the rx? and is a 14.8vs 20c 5000mah a good rating for batts?

esc/motor combo?
i just bought a rc8be roller and im looking to get an esc/motor combo that doesnt break the bank.i used to have a converted savage but i know that theres a lot that came out in like 2-3 yrs ive been out of 8th scales.i saw that theres hobbywing brand ,are they any good?can i combine a hobbywing esc with a mamba or tekin motor (does it matter)?what kv rating do i need?i want more speed of course.do i still need to use external BEC like we used too?i remember i fried my esc and rx without using BEC.i forgot what the BEC do?ease of setting it up will be good too.i know a lot of people choose top of the line like the tekin rx8 or mamba but i just want a running buggy for now.is 150amp from hobbywing enough?and which motor can handle that?thanks guys! i found this one! is it good? http://www.hobbypartz.com/07e-c-combo-m3a.html
