Super Shot Resurrection
Im in the prosses of rebuilding a Super Shot that i got luckey on ebay for $ 127 . It came to me with a tackle box full of parts, inculding all the original parts . I got the shocks in a unused condition, the RX-540SD Technipower motor, the original tamiya battery pack and a bunch of replacement parts !!! The body is shot as was the gold rims but i did get a full set of the right ovel pin tires and white rims with 2 extra rears. [:D] Right now its in pieces and ive got some parts comming from GB . It had duck tape all over it to make it water proof, so now ive got to get all the tape stickey stuff off of it but i have no idea how to get it off without eating the plastic up . Ill have some pic's up tomarrow if anyone wants to see em. Anyone got any parts they want to get rid of ?

Scratch build or put together
So witch do you perfer ,Buy it and put it together or build something from scratch ? Ive have more fun building my Big Rig than putting together any kit that i have owned. I like the challange of making it all work but the best part is when its all done and you drive it !! You have something no one eles has and its unque. I think my next project mite be this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150078105096&rd=1,1 . But ill half to wate till i get my Super Shot , ebay score for $ 127 . I think the truck would look good on a xtm x factor or a clod buster or something close . Anyway do what you do best and have fun at it.

RE: Big Rig Tweeken
As far as i can tell its made by RUI CHUANG ( china)no.a042 (mine) and no.a043 , thats a box truck. Other than that there isnt anything eles that says made by. Ill start working on it tonight as i have to got to a early x-mass dinner here in a few. One thing im not shure about is the traler has a motor on it to rase it and its controled by the remote. How do i get it to work when i convert it to a esc. Its connected by means of a metal plate on the traler hitch and 2 metal pins on the truck hitch to connect the power.

RE: Addiction...getting out of hand...
[:D] Well count me in !!!! I just bought a lunch box and some other thing off ebay for 50$, used ofcourse.I try not to surf any of the RC sights but i cant seem to stop . I used to have a few back in the day and it was so much fun then. Now im older and can keep a job now ( with 3 kids kinda half to yea know ) i can indulge myself on a new car ,buggy, truck or anything eles i can find but i look for the bargains just so the wife wont kill me .The thing that hurts is im building a 94 gmc sonoma with a tunnel ramed 454 ( look to the left )as a show truck and the money is hard to split up between them. A little here or a lot there, so i try to do both. Its like ... well 160 for the water pump or... 160 for this cool rc car ? Man its hard!!!!!!

RE: prototype RXB-1 by Himoto/ redcat racing
I agree with U46 when i drive one ill see how it compares to the other buggys. I do however like the break setup on it, easy to adjust fornt or rear . i would like to see a unique 2 speed setup in a buggy because the bigger block motors make their power in a lower rpm range .This would inturn help the motors last longer and keep them in their peek power range. Just a thought , innovative , but just a thought.

RE: TL-01 Question
My friend has one with every hopup made for it .He has a 10t in it and when he nails it at about 25mph it just goes sideways . Its light and insaine, he did however take the speed gears out to make it somewhat controlable ,but its pretty much a lost cause. The speed gear set is great with a 27 t or so. Or is it he put them back in hummmm ill have to ask him.
