RE: Flair Puppeteer Trust Angles
Oh ya another simple thing, check all of the bolts on the engine. Especially the back plate and the cylinder head. Any air leak no matter how small will cause a lean run! This is great I am thinking about my first flight of teh season today and you are making me think about all of the throuble shooting I may have to do latter!!! Bassman

RE: Flair Puppeteer Trust Angles
I owned one of the Saito 90 3 cylinder radials. The problems with it are it has the power of a 65, the weight of a 120 and really needs on board glow to be reliable. It does sound great when it sitting there at idle. Actually it would be a great engine for the Puppeteer. Bassman

I was checking some of my eariler posts and found #46. In it I said,"The stab and lower wing are zero to each other and the top wing is +1°" So I am woundering about your angles. How much did you change the horizontal stab mounting surfaces? Bassman

RE: Flair Puppeteer Trust Angles
I don't understand either. My servos are in the normal positon behind the fuel tank and I did nothing to the design of the tail. I built it exactly according to the plans. If I can find my digital camera I'll take some pics latter. Bassman

RE: Flair Puppeteer Trust Angles
Flaperon is necessary. One aileron on channel 1 and the other on channel 6 ( at least on a Futaba radio). Then it works. If you have both alieron servos on one channel your right it won't work. You would have to have the ailerons on seperate channels to use differentail anyway. Figure it out your Snipe is going to need it!! Bassman

RE: Flair Puppeteer Trust Angles
I don't use the actual differntial function although my radio has it. I just set the travels on the aileron servos so that up travel and down travel are what I want them to be and it works fine. Bassman

RE: YOUR CLUBS FLIGHT PATTERN RULES...if any...??
Our rule is very simple. The near leg of the pattren is in the direction of take off. If we are taking off left to right because of wind conditions then the near leg of the pattern is left to right. If the wind conditions focre a right to left take off then the near leg of the pattren is that way. First truns are always away from the flight line. Bassman

That's great. Looks good too! Mine is also faster than I would have liked but in this small size scale speed is hard to achive. I have taken some time off from RC. To many other things going on. I'll get back to it in September when the warbird meets start up around here. Nice job. Bassman
