RE: NEW DLE30!
ORIGINAL: captinjohn Both of The YOUCANDO airplanes you talk about have 2 things in common. Simple to fly & Ugly. I have see a lot of em with 4 cycle engines putting around the sky. Looks like a good trainer plane! Capt,n
Ugly yes,Fly the 90 size with the DL 30 and you will not think its a trainer. O well a trainer is about all I can fly any more anyway. RE: NEW DLE30!
No it is not the pink one, I had the pink one I rebuilt it from a friends total.Had a Brison 2.4 on it,just right. Remember we are flying at 5450 altitude. I lost the pink one at the Sheridan fly in last fall .My first bad on 2.4. I believe something came unplugged. All checks out OK in a foamy.I have noticed some of the plugs do not fit very tight in the 2.4 FASST receivers or do they plug in very far. I usually tie them ,will from now on. Yes it will acl out of a hover like a Aerrow. BCCHI.AMA 2500

The RCEXL ignition will easiley go to 15000 on 6 volts and this will not hurt it. Our CHXL in house built ignition will hold a 1/4 inch spark gap at 25000 all day long ,on 6 volts . BCCHI

RE: I'm off to Hong Hong - where can I buy a gas engine?
Why replace the DL spark plug. Nothing wrong with the spark plug that comes with DL. I run orginal spark plugs in both my DL 50 and 30.50 is two years old and flown a bunch. My 50 runs better on the DL plug. I have not tried a CM6 or Denso in my 30. BCCHI

RE: NEW DLE30!
Wearing my CH Electronics hat CH now has a single bolt adapter kit for the DLE 30. The single bolt is stress proof steel and the stud is tapped 10/32 for a spinner bolt. $24.95 WARNING The DLE factory uses some sort of stud lock. It requires heat and proper tools to remove the DLE stud. Bill CH Electronics 307 857 6897 P.S. We also have the same style for the TMM 53 (3MM 53)
