Rossi engine
Trying to make up my mind on what engine to power a Phoenix 8 with. Looks like for a new engine it would be a Jett or Rossi. Looking for any feedback on the Rossi engine on how it runs, tuning etc. Thanks Clint

RE: 1.20 size airplane
Yes the 2M Vanquish. I'm going with 8 batteries. Will have a generator mounted to a trailer. Looking forward to get both airplanes in the air.

1.20 size airplane
I have been out of the hobby and pattern for quite some time. Would like to start out with a 1.20 size airplane. I have not had much luck in finding an airplane. The only 2 planes I have found that may work are the World Models Spot on 120 or the Aeroworls 1.20 size Yak. Can anyone give me feedback on either of these planes or suggest another? Looking for a nitro as I plan on using the YS115 to power the airplane. Thanks Clint

Magnum vs Saito 4 Stroke
Looking for advice. I was an avid patter flyer in the 80s and early 90s. Have been out of the hobby since 93. I am building a sweet stik 40 to return to the hobby. Not planning on flying this plane too long, then getting back to vintage pattern. Is the Magnum engine a decent engine? It's quite a bit cheaper than the Saito but I don't want to be fighting an engine that does not run. Thanks for the input.

RE: Back in hobby
All: thanks for the input. Decided on the Futaba 7C and changed my mind on the engine going to go with the OS 40.

RE: NAME the PLANE again
This is an Omega. Flew one in the early 80s. Was alot like the Atlanta without the swept wings and inverted engine. Was a really good flying airplane.

Back in hobby
I been out of the hobby for about 16 years. Was an avid pattern flyer back in the day. I have found a big stick that I am building. Have two questions, is the Magnum 52XL a decent engine? Do you think the 52 will be enough engine for a 40 size airplane? What about radios? Do I need the 2.4 or is FM okay? Pretty big price difference for a guy just getting back in the hobby. Thanks for any input. Clint
