RE: Post links to your Redcat Racing Videos
I think I'm gonna get me another redcat vehicle,my couson basically refuses to gimme back my tornado xp. I was wanting the 1/8 buggy but I have a hot bodies lightning 2 pro.... I sold my Savage X, it was getting dangerous lol, the last ramp we built was 4 ft. wide and 5t. tall , and almost verticle.... I'll get some video of it posted soon, got some good double back flips and stuff and nasty nose dives from 25ft. in the air(nothing broke on the X btw) :P I was looking at the stadium truck they just put out....But I betThe mini is probably about the funnest out of any of them LOL.

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)
you like the bump box for bashing? it's not very convenient for bashing......just my opinion.... guess it's just a matter of preference :)

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)
I read all yal's talk about starter boxes vs. roto-start.... It's quiet simple, if your going to race then use a starter box, if your just going to bash and such then use the roto-start. No one wants to carry around a giant bump box if they're not doing serious racing, theyre HEAVY!!!!!! But the bump boxes are nice if your racing cus you just leave them at your pit spot! Just my 2 cents!

RE: New Cheap RTR for bashing
I have the Hot Bodies Lightning 2 Pro version and it's INVINCIBLE!!!!! If your going to be bashing I'd strongly advise picking up a lightning 2 buggy, I also think they are VERY race worthy as well!!!! But I just bash mine... HARD :)

RE: Official Hot Bodies Lightning 2 Buggy Thread
Have you done any experience with diff. springs and shock oil??? I get jittery everytime I land that thing from 20ft. it thumps SOOO loud... I think I'm gonna try 80wt. shock oil with sportswerks extra firm springs.... think 80wt. is to high??? I wanna try to keep the chassis from hittin so hard!

RE: Revo, LST, and Savage Comparison
Mayhem I see you have a few buggies , so I have a question for ya.... What is the best way to run your buggy( suspension wise) in grass..... should I max the ride height out or let it set low???? do I need to remove the sway bars??? I'll be doing jumps like with the savage , I also don't want it to flip on a turn either.... thx

RE: what is better 1 speed or 2 speed
Hi I have a Redcat Racing 1/10 buggy ... the single speed and 2 speed Incase you DONT know ... Redcat and Himoto are IDENTICAL same factory production just different name on it! The 2 speed version is way better.....Their is really no comparison, despite what the add says, they don't go the same speed, the 2 speed has better acceleration AND better top speed, the factory 2 speed is pre-set so you shouldnt have to mess with the shift point if you don't want to. Also I'm a Redcat dealer if your interested, I'm sure I can beat the price of whatever your looking at :)

RE: best engine
the .46 sucks.... thats why i run the .32 now lololol, but my point is that the truckzilla motor makes MASSIVE torque , and the Savage handled it..... the Surefire is an amazing motor, it seems to get better every day!!!!

RE: best engine
The Savage X can handle any motor, I put the 5hp truckzilla motor in my savage for a few months, NO problems, for the last 3 months I've been running the Surefire .32 with NO problems, Only problems I've had is NONE..... lol..... Seriously though man I jump my savage 10-20 foot in the air , backflips , nosedives, land it on its top, I seriously try to break my Savage X and there has been to many times I've went home pissed with my X in one piece :(......So if yours breaks without getting ran over by a car or falling into the grand canyon then I think you musta just got a dud Savage!!!!!Oh wait.... You havent even drove it though right???? So your just going by what someone else said....
