Thanks there rotor for the heads up on the hawk.....that helps alot. Also thanks to you there rafael and yes i meant 200... After what rotor said i might ask him about the hawk as to what version it is.. I was wondering if you could tell me if there is an electric conversion for this heli....i am not close enough to an area where nitro is always welcome. PS. What about gasser conversion?

RE: HK-450GT CCPM Alloy T-Rex compatible
Man your not kidding wes about the nose in part...i have done some inverted on the sim and brought it down into a hover but as soon as it stops in front....inverted or not.....it becomes confusing to me to. I think when we think it gets crossed...but when you just do it then it is instinct and not judgement that takes control. Before you ask though i have yet to hover successfully for more than a few seconds for real before putting it down much less do forward or 3d flight but on the sim i can because i am not worried about the thought of crashing and fixing it...it just happens easier on the sim.

Rikybob i feel ya on the that vw with eight legs you had in your garage there man I HATE SPIDERS!!!! Need a little advice please!
Have a gentleman who is looking to sell me a jr ergo 60 and a century hawk 60 for 2 bill minus the electronics. I am fairly new and dont know what to do so i figured some of you seasoned flyboys who might own or have owned these two birds might help me out . First from the outset let me say that the pics show a little dirt but the frame and gears seem in good shape. If any of you can tell me if they still make parts for these birds and where to get them. Are there any inherent problems that these two have that i should know about and lastly does it seem like a good deal. The guy is staight up and is a good man, but i think he is in the dark on these like i am. Much appreciation for the inputs that yall can give. Bigpapa

RE: HK-450GT CCPM Alloy T-Rex compatible
Thanks for the shout out there rikybob i am reading all the posts and am enjoying it.....have not been able to do anything about putting my heli together yet.....it just made it to Dallas tx. yesterday according to the tracking and today is sunday......but that is ok i am on the boat for awhile anyway.....i am eating up the info on everything yall talk about though....i will (upon recieving my heli), tear the head down and the tail down and put grease in the thrust bearings, i will make sure the shafts have proper grease on them and i will loctite every screw ans bolt that is metal to metal. How am i doing soo far.....:-) Rob a quick question for you....you said that labelle 107 (hope i spelled it right) will work on whole heli....does that include the thrust bearings also? Ohh....and i will also download the manual for the trex450 se v2.....i believe that is the correct one for the hk 450gt ccpm alloy if i read yall's posts right..... Lastly a big shout out to all others that i have read about and didnt mention not fogetting nobody...:-)

RE: How to build a cheap GOOD heli.
man yall got me all excited and i went and ordered me an hk450gt alloy....i am going to use my dx6i and reciever from my blade400 and some of the components like rob did til i can get others. I did get some of the servos you all recommended though. I had to wait on the motor and esc until later but i saw the flight of robs and was pretty impressed for blade motor and esc..I instead got some batteries and a good charger. Will post how it is going once i get it all together.

Time to get back in the game!
Well guys I have caught the bug again and have decided to put my axe back together. I am also getting a small micro for around the house, but that is another day and another dollar that momma lets me have. I have an original axe cp that I got a couple of years back. I need some advice on putting back together again like the six million dollar man (WE CAN REBUILD HIM!) Sorry I digressed right there. Anyway if any of you know of some improvement like HH gyro, Brushless upgrade, belt or torque driven tail mods that would make her more solid again I would appreciate any advice. Thanks again guys for any help.

RE: Learning to fly with 125 fp
Good luck with it and keep putting out posts as you improve. I am taking the same route. I have a gym at my church where i believe i can put in some good stick time witbout the wind being a factor until i get better. I handle a coax on sim very well but not somuch with the cp birds....anyway good luck.

It's b400 time for me!!!!!!!
Well I took the plundge and bought the b400 after reading some favorable reviews. Being that this is my second helicopter but first with real capability of a cp system, I was wondering a couple of things and was hoping some of you all could help. 1st. What batteries and chargers do you all recommend. And 2nd. Talk to me about upgrade on servos. This is one of the things they talked about in the reviews that the stock servos don't center well. Anyway if you all could help that would be great.[:D]

RE: Man that's alot of money!
They haven't stopped the entire line, I just heard about the mx450 and possibly the mx400. I didnt say I couldn't afford it I said its hard to convince the financial head of my money (i.e. my wife) to give it all up at once .I have done my research and been to some flyins at the local field and know all about the expense of the hobby. But thanks to you all for the advice so far.

Man that's alot of money!
I heard that Tower Hobbies is giving up on just about the whole helimax line. I was considering buying one , not because it was the best on the market but because T.H. offer the easy pay plan and combos. My question is does anybody else know of a hobby store that offer an easy pay or installment plan online. Sorry but i can't convince my finance officer at home to give a full loan for a decent setup.[:@] I was looking at a trex or mini titan and all nessesities. Thanks for any help you can provide.

man I'm never going to get it right
O.K. here it is in a nut shell. I got my axe cp , did about 3 flights and crashed.Big surprise there. anyway i got the parts needed to fix it finally and put it back together and now i think i fried the board.not sure but i have no control over my tail rudder controls. it still comes on to stabalize but i get no stick response and the tx.Now the helicopter is surging on the throttle and when i give it almost full thottle it slows down. i have a second battery that im charging to see if it is the battery. any thoughts from yall experts out there would be much appreciated. thanks

So i crashed my axe cp the other day[&o]. But that is no surprise any way i looked on the forum for axe cp and i seen where people used knitting needles for the tail boom. I found the right ones but the inside seems to be just a hair to narrow for the tail boom assembly to fit back in . I would apreciate any help you all could give.
