RE: RC duster 502 build?
My father and me have an Airtractor 502 that was a kit from duane habets. we both sratch built hoppers and use baby powder to do actualyy dusting passes. It is my favortie plan to fly and from talking from some cropdusting pilots, it handles just like the full scale aircraft. here is a photo of our airtractors. I never considered selling it but i guess I could for the right price and I would probably buy another. I have had this plan for about 4 years and it is a favorite out at the flying field. My dad is bringing his to the bomber flyin in monaville, tx next month. it has a 92" wingspan and i use a ys 110 for power. My father has a dle 20 in his.

I ran into a snag with my twin otter. The os 70 four strokes wont fit without me cutting into the firewall to recess the engine back. I am trying to decide if i should do it or find some smaller 4 strokes.

I did the same thing on my duane habets airtractor and it works fine. just make sure the tank is sealed off good or the inside of the fuselage will look like a powdered donut when you land.

RE: F18 Super Hornet Question
I am a super hornet WSO and BKthunder is correct about how the superhornet airbrake works.. You normally dont use speed brakes on landing but the rudders are toed in which actuallly provide extra lift for bolters or go arounds. if anything the pilot will use aero braking technique or go full aft stick when below 100 kts which helps slows the plane down on landing roll out.

RE: Super Hornet Aggressor schemes
Hey guys, I am a superhornet WSO currently stationed with VFA-122 and the blue and brown super hornets aren't part of aggressors squadrons. they are just painted that way. they are also the oldest E and F superhornets. The F is configured as a dual cockpit for pilot training. I actually did a flight in the brown Superhornet two weeks ago.

RE: Cessna 188 Agwagon
you should look in the scale forum at the rc cropduster thread. I have and airtractor 502 designed by duane habets with a 92 inch wingspan. It is a fiberglass fuse and balsa sheeted foam cores for the wings and tail surfaces. He also kit an agcat with a 90 inch wingspan. the cropduster thread have lots of guys with cropdusters of all types.

RE: New CH53 600 size fuselage
Outstanding!!!! I was thinking of doing the marine scheme as well with mine. I just bought a raptor 30 for it and found some parajumpers that are th perfect size. I 8 of them to possibly do a crew of 5 (2 pilots gunner in each front door and one on the tail and i want to make a way to drop the other 3 off the ramp in flight. I thought a trying to modify it to make the MH-53E version but I that would be a pretty extensive mods mainly tilting the tail over. More than likely i will keep it as the "D" model. I wish I could the the main rotor tilt 5 degrees forward like the full scale as well but I think that is way out of my experience level.
