RE: Aurora 9 Video Walkthough now w/Heli
I just checked with Tower and they said the 9 channel is expected the end of November. They have not received any shipments of the 9 channel set-up. They did however ship the 7 channel out already and they are now on back order. I talked with the Hitec gang at Joe Nall. Great bunch of guys, but I gotta say, this was not well planned out.

After talking with Hitec yesterday, it now looks like late November for the Aurora with the 9 ch receiver. I guess if i have waited since Joe Nall, what the heck will another 6 months matter.

96TD sure would like to know how much steel you stuffed in the muffler, and how does it effect performance. As you have previously read, I kicked 103db at 3 meters with a 17/6 xoar prop. I have contacted everyone you can think of to try to get a muffler that will bring me down to 94 DB

According to what I have read, The cub is covered with Solartex. I did make a phone call to Balsa USA which is the sole distributor for this product in the USA. They could not confirm that this is true. I have used Aolartex in the past and the stuff on my Cub seems too rubbery. Scott

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming
I used a 108 Magnum with Pitts style muffler. Airplane builds light. I also have the Nosen Champ. The RC guys Decathalon is the nicest ARF to come down the pike lately. Yes it takes some work, and some thinking, but I think for scale Aerobatic Pilots, this plane has alot to offer. (717) 805-1998 in Pa

RE: RC Guys Super Decathlon coming
I built a Bud Nosen 105" Citabria which has a no right thrust or down thrust at the engine mount. Looking at the plans the thrust line appears to be very close to the adjusted line on the RC guys Decathalon, which is basically the same airplane. Flight characteristics are great. I feel with confidence, that 1/4 inch should not make a real huge difference. I guess I will report back by the end of next week and tell your how it went. I did go with the updated position from RC Guys

fusco aircraft
I to purchased a Long Ez on 2 Dec 02. I have had many conversations with Vala. I still believe he will produce a quality kit for those that have already paid. I also believe he got in way too deep in this project. I think if we give him so breathing room he will produce as paid for.
