RE: Best type of car for grass
It appears that the inner and outer foam air filters are not installed. Do I need to put oil on both of the inner and outer foam pieces? And how much oil do I put on the foam? Thank you, Bjfrankl

Do I need to put air fliter oil on the foam filter before I run the car for the first time, or has this already been done at the factory? Thank you, Bjfrankl

RE: Best type of car for grass
I almost ordered a Savage, but I liked the Hyper 7's price, escpecially since this is my first rc car. I'm still second-guessing myself because it was a hard decision. I'm sure that I will buy a monstor truck at some point. Any advice for running my Hyper 7 for the first time? For example, breaking in the engine, the best fuel to use, etc.? Bjfrankl

Best type of car for grass
Hello - What is the best type of car for handling grass? Will an 1/8 scale buggy handle the grass? Or should I be looking for a stadium truck or monstor truck for more ground clearance. I am thinking about purchasing a Hyper 7, but I want to be sure that it will handle the grass okay before I buy it. Thank you, Bjfrankl

Nitro Boats
Hello - I owned a couple of nitro boats a fews years ago but sold them because I got into rc airplanes. I've thought about buying another nitro rc boat, but it looks like Horizon Hobby no longer offers nitro boats on its webiste. I know Tower Hobbies offers nitro boats, but I am curios to know why Horizon Hobby does not. Any thoughts? Thank you, Bjfrankl

RE: Brodak Baby Clown ARF Landing Gear
I figured the landing gear out. The piece of wood goes into the slot to hold the landing gear in place. I used a few drops of CA to hold it. I fly RC planes, so this is my first control line plane. I am going to a nearby club on Tuesday to get some help with flying the plane. Thanks for all the input. Bjfrankl

RE: Brodak Baby Clown ARF Landing Gear
Thank you for the reply. My instructions say to insert a wood collar onto the landing gear before inserting the landing gear into the slot in the fuselage. The slot appears to be too big for just inserting the landing gear into the fuselage. There is a small piece of wood, but it doesn't look like a collar. Bjfrankl

Converting Trainer to Taildragger
Hello- I am going to convert my Avistar 40 to a taildragger, but I have some questions since I have not done this before: 1. How far forward/back should I mount the main landing gear? 2. What type of wood should I use for the main landing gear's mounting block inside of the fuselage? I have 1/8" plywood. Would that work? Thank you, Bjfrankl
