Hi there,i wanted to ask if these will have a choke because i have a 26CC rear induction of another brand without a choke. Its a real pain because you have to take the hatch off and choke it with your finger every time

RE: Peakmodel Extra 260 25%
So far i have thrashed my extra with a peak 26,very agressive flying and i have only damaged it from a dead stick landing (my fault ).i have added bracing and some epoxy from day one to make sure it was a bit tougher. So after about a few hundred flights i through the spe43 in it (nearly the same weight). Will get to fly again in a few weeks and hope to thrash it for another 100 flights.By the way i have a wild hare yak with a dl50 in it and the extra is still fun to fly!

CG QUESTION ON WILDHARE YAK
G'day i am finishing the build on my wildhare yak and the instructions say balance at 3.25 inches back from the leading edge at wingtip. Is ther any reason for this as all my other planes are measured next to the fuse.[8|]Also shold it be measured inverted or does it not matter with the wing type. Thanks fellas [;)]

RE: Pick for Chinese 26cc Engine?
G'day i've got a peak26 and its a sweet little gasser, turns a 17x8 at 7600.put about 2 gallons (converted that in my head for the unmetric ) thru it and i couldn't be happier. It prop hangs the 72 inch extra at half throttle and pulls out vertically.a few older members at my club cant stop saying how good it pulls, all the us engines we get here are to heavy or over priced.

RE: Help with 50cc misfire/pop and flame out
I think it could be a combination of ignition problem(ignition module, plug lead etc)and failsafe.in the video when it pops on the ground the carb tuning sounds ok but it really fights itself like its firing to early with spark timing.

RE: SPE 40cc Problems
ORIGINAL: Ozmodeller Guys Anyone had experience with the following with this engine: Turning over by hand a notchy feeling as the piston comes to TDC, Looking through the spark plug hole and it appears that the piston is hitting the combustion chamber, Some scoring on the piston on either side of the exhaust port, and the engine is brand new! Thanks in advance Peter
I had the same problem with mine,i sent it back and received a new one.so far so good,i haven't started it yet.

RE: new engine stuffed.thanks peakmodel!
Update on the spe40.Way from peakmodel has been very good.He has answered my problems quickly they are sending me out another spe40 and are going to cover the cost of transport as well.I think this is great as most companies would not do that.thanks peakmodel.

RE: new engine stuffed.thanks peakmodel!
It's a spe40,with the plug out it seams that the piston is hitting the head. They say if i buy another engine(was looking at a peak26)then they will take the shipping price of sending it back off the price of the 26.i dont know if i want another engine yet[8|]what do you guys think,a peak26 or the spe26?or should i try some thicker gasket under the barrel

new engine stuffed.thanks peakmodel!
G'day all just opened the box from peakmodel,my first gasser so excited then sad. While checking it over i found that it wont turn over by hand.It seems that the piston is hitting the head.when i informed peakmodel the response was for ME to dissasemble the engine, and repair.i dont know how to fix this but i would say STAY AWAY FROM PEAKMODEL.guess i will have to try to fix this pile of s**t.[&o]
