hey man had the same problem with mine water is kicked up from the prop strut and going under the little tab that is used to pull the canopy off the hull

there is only one ss to be released and thats the one that everyone is just now getting that has been on back order. if you own a bj with a steerable outdrive its not the ss, i would recomend buying the hardware that comes on the actuall ss or the miss vegas equipment as misshydro stated above both good, my ss is bone stock running on 20% and i am hitting low to mid 30s (with out the turn fins)

blackjack26 help
another newb question for you guys, i am running a stock proboat blackjack 26ss(with the >18 engine) a few of you guys know who i am, i am using a dynamite mc59 plug and running o'donnels 20% racing fuel, i met with mike a few weeks and and we ran his eliminator and my blackjack he is running a much higher nitro than i am, so we tried his higher % fuel in my boat and it did not want to do much of anything but spudder around, i saw a post reply by grim saying something about more nitro = more power= more speed, why is it that my boat did absolutley nothing? we also tried changing my lsn and my hsn and same effects. thanks-wes

blackjack26ss hull crack
ok this boat has made it passed break in and some shake downs quite satisfied with speed and handling and everything in between except for this crack that i have found wanting to know if anyone knows what causes this and how to maintain it, (mike you already know about this crack maybe you can help better explain it) thanks guys! -wes

well i have definately not given up on the boat by any means just aggrevated i actually got some extra flotation for it today as well as some clear window sealer to make a gasket like finish for where the canopy meets the hull, by the maybe you can answer a question for me what type of paint can i use on my hull ex. automotive, hobby paint ect?
