poco242, Yeah Roy seems like a good guy to deal with. He e-mailed me and sent me an update kit for my ignition no charge! I bought this ignition second hand from a guy not from Roy directly, anybody that would do that is ok in my book! I will definetly buy my next ignition from him! Pete

I agree with Pro JR by the looks of it. It looks like it would fly pattern or just sport flying I have no experience with it though I'm sure if you read some of the threads on it you will know from people who already have and have flown it. Pete
ORIGINAL: schuh007 So, do you personally think it looks like a good 3D for a beginner? or should I wait a while and get the typhoon?
RE: Gorilla Glue thoughts?
A quart (32 ounces) of Titebond Original formula costs about 8 bucks around here. The same 8 bucks would buy 4 ounces of Gorilla Glue. That's why there is no Gorilla Glue on my glue shelf.
True but the Gorilla glue expands 300% so it does last a long time used sparingly. It is also very light and strong. I have not used it on anything that has alot of vibration yet but I am curious how it holds up. I would think that it would. Pete

RE: Gas Engine mounts? ?
ORIGINAL: av8tor1977 The Kioritz/Echo engines are even simpler, as there is no backplate, but there are four mounting holes that I use in the same manner. A little dicey on some designs to get at the nuts inside the fuselage, but it saves the weight of the plate mount, plus either having to buy or make one. AV8TOR
Av8tor, On my Kioritz there are 4 tapped holes on the back of the case, do you use those and run bolts through the firewall? I wasn't sure if they would be strong enough, seemed a little small. Pete
