i have over 40 hrs on my wren 54 mk4, still as delivered from the factory, starts first time every time thats why i have a wren 160 as well

most things that are electrical that get sold in the uk have to safe to use, if it bursts into flames if you forget to switch it off charge i doubt that it will be around very long as the heath and safety exec will get it withdrawn

thats what i was just thinking when i was reading your post, i have never had to adjust any of my wrens from when i fly in the winter to summer so why can't the jet cats decide there own settings, what would happen if the jetcat decided it needed adjustment while you were flying?

i use a heat blanket that plumbers use when soldering copper joints you can get them cheap from diy stores just cut them to size and attach them leaving a air gap if you can
