RE: E Flite AT-6 Texan Convert to GLOW!
dear Scale dail, your wellcome makes me very Happy! here in Italy we've a lot of forums but no one like yours,so technical with pictures and deep discussions. As I told, here ,none specific for glow discussions and convertions but only about this new "electric fashion".Soon I'll post a movie and the pictures about my lancair glow in order to share this experience.meantime I'm going to search the Texan in some shop (until now I see it's available only outside Italy), and, because can't stay frozen, working to another convertion. In fact I've got a GEEBEE Y green model (Maxford USA) on the workbench, where I'm thinking to use an OS 15 LA.I'm doubting the structure can resist for something more powerful......so I'm afraid to be very close to the limits.I really hope to make the right choice, because the model is very nice (do you know it?) and should be a pity to destroy it...anyway, I'll post the project step by step for all the interested and curious friends here.thanks again and kind things to you!blusailah,... because we are very close, Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!

RE: Next project lancair LA 15
hi,I'm from Italy, just converted my Lancair after a lot of troubles with brushed and brushless engine.Put an MDS 18 very powerful, the plane is fast on speed and easy on landing. The structure has been reinforced only putting a second carbon rod.no other modifications.exciting in the manouvers and even going vertically without troubles.I really suggest this configuration for all the lancair's owners.

RE: E Flite AT-6 Texan Convert to GLOW!
dear scale dail, dear friends,I'm blusail from Italy. sorry to enter in this discussion in such way may not so soft, but I'm excited, because this is really the next project I was thinking!!!!!in Italy the trend is to fly only with electrics, glow engines are going to dead, and may be only few will remains to serve the flag.....I really think the e-flight models are well for the change to glow, like the hyperion.Personally I've tried to convert the mini super sportser of GP with a really bad result, switch to the most famous Minimag from multiplex with nice results (but is made in Elapor)and a great, really great result with the LANCAIR ES EP40 from great planes!I've put an MDS 18 engine, just reinforcing the plywood with a double carbon rod.The result is incredible, fast like my MUSTANG combat and very easy to drive it ,even at low speed during the landing. The motor is incredible too, has a great power and the best fly is easy at half stickI've decided to convert it,after the disaster with the original brushed motor I've found in the kit(never fleew) ,and very bad flights with an Haker 3028.now, with this glow,I'm in another word.I suggest to follow this way for agreat enjoy.thaks for your kindnessblusail
