hi fellow flyers, one quick question. i have a carl goldberg altimant 10-300 biplane, and i need to know if i can use a 20cc gas engine on this plane. i have a 1.20 4-stroke on it now. i woulld like to change over to gas if i could. i thought it might be too nose heavy. any ideas?

jet engines are very expensive. is it true after a few hrs on the jet , it has to be sent in for inspections. gas is the way to go. 20,ooo for a jet? it must be nice to burn money away.

RE: camshaft timing.
thank you mr67stang. the motor was givin to me ok, the guy said that the push-rod bent and the rocker-arm was broke, so i took the top end off and the valve was stuck closed. so i got the valve out and cleaned it . put it back in and it moves up-down like it should. i checked the camshaft timing and it is perfect. what would cause the bent rod/ broken rocker arm. someone told me to check the timing , so i did. its ok. any idea?

hi jorge, im afraid to take the top end of the motor apart, if you are interested in the motor, let me know , im interested in that 120 you have , i need one that i dont have to work on, like i said, im not use to the 4 strokes. the 2 strokes i know about. im sure it wouldnt take much to get this o.s.- 120 fs up and running again. i dont have the knowledge. different strokes for different folks. wright?

hey jorge, the rocker arm is broke in half. what is wrong with your 120. the guy i got the goldberg 300 from, he somehow bent the push-rod on the 120. so he took the 120 out, and put a thundertiger 91 on it. a heli motor. why, i dont know. anyhow, i want to take out the heli motor , and put what is suppose to go on it. i like my toys to be perfect. the thing about 4 stroke motors, is that so many things can go wrong with them. not like a 2 stroke. do you have any o.s 91s you would like to part with? keep in touch.

hi jorge, no parts list, and it has 2 rocker covers. im not fimillluar with the 4 stroke motors. the only markings on the motor is os fs 120. i was motor was given to me. the guy told me what it needed. i wish i could get the parts for it, so i could put it back on the goldberg 300. i have a 91 in it now for the time being. i like the sound of the 4 stroke motors. if i cant find the parts , then ill sell it or trade for a 2 stroke motor. if someone wants the 120, and they could find the parts, they would have a 400 dollor motor cheap. the motor looks new. plus the pipe.

can someone help me please, i have a robbe futura 60 size heli , it has a 9245 servo for the tail. is this servo drawing too much current, giving me shorter flight time. if so, should i change to a different servo?, any help would be appreciated.

mfa did make a conversion kit for this heli. it is an upgrade c/p. also, i thought maybe someone had a mfa sport 500 they was parting out that had the c/p . if i can't find one , then i will get a 550 or a 600 c/p rotor . i would rather keep it all arriginal. i'll see what happens.

robbe futura 60 heli
hi ya, i have a robbe futura 60 . i put the mechanics in a thunder tiger hughes 500 d defender fusalage. huge. 56 inches long. the problem i have is , i cant change the glow plug. no room too get a tool in the back inside too change it. it has the remote glow igniter on it. i dont want too cut an opening on the back of the fusalage if i dont have too. any ideas?. this put me on a stand still. please help.
