RE: other dealer
if you're really serious about this boat, then you should be prepared. there will be a lot of things you need to add/remove

RE: outdoor or indoor
you can have some fun with indoor helis, but not with indoor planes.. i think it will be very hard to maneuver.
ORIGINAL: bonebreak I don't get to fly enough for it to get mundane. I get out once a week at the most. I make the most out of that one day however.
actually, even if you fly plenty of times you will never get bored. it's up to you on how you will challenge yourself to keep your enthusiasm on the hobby.

if you can dismantle and assemble your trainer blindfolded, if you manage to do all the maneuvers a trainer can do and you think you can do better. then you might have mastered it already.

RE: suiable age
ORIGINAL: joeyhatch11 I dont think age is a concern. I've seen video's on youtube with 5-6year olds flying nitro helis and doing some real intense flying with them. I think it's all about how well the kids can listen and understand that the heli's are not a toy and could possible do some real damage if they are not careful. What brings this question about? Looking to get a heli for your son/daughter?
oh man, that's cool. can you post any link???

RE: Want to upgrade from coaxial to single
co-ax's are good stable helis.. why not try to find a bigger one that can be flown outside and can handle winds? if you're really decided, you can try the Wasp V3 http://www.twift.com/skyartec-wasp-channel-helicopter-p-195.html pretty good one. it has a pro version as well.

RE: catamaran sailboats
ORIGINAL: pringlez i know that catamaran sailboats are like, 2 sailboats put together in one.. just curious if there are types / kinds of rc catamaran or it just varies by brand?
they're not actually 2 sailboats in one.but their design make them more stable and i guess sturdy in winds.

RE: Complete NOOB with a few questions
hi there mr fibs. you might wanna try practicing in flying simulators first before you actually fly the plane. it helps with gaining control and ideas how to take off and land.

RE: PAY ATTENTION
you have to pay attention with your own safety. go ask trainers and experienced rc pilots for pointers. for glow/gas powered. never ever stand infront of the engine/prop.

for the body, you can use the enamel spray. if you're worried about the belly/bottom i think a masking tape or packing tape will do.
