These are big companies with big $$ R & D departments always coming out with the latest trucks and buggys, but none of them have any 1/5 scale. ( exclude the traxxas monster buggy thats been discontinued alwhile ) Even Redcat has come out with a 1/5 scale and there not really a known name. U 1/5 scale Rc'ers out there what your take on this ?? [:D]

I would contact Cen about it and explain your situation. Maybe you were driving it hard before and the your last run it took that much more for that to break. Remember that engine is very powerful. I can see why that would break

Smartech Titan (30.5cc) can it take this ?
Does anyone out there own or heard info on a Smartech Titan with a 30.5cc motor or more powerful ? Reason can the Titan take this kind of power long term ? Bending CVDS, spiral gear problems, premature outdrive wear, diff problems well you get the picture. With a hopped up motor I would like Titan even more but not if the drive train doesn't hold up. Believe it or not China are creating innovations in R & D. So be it lets say they copy this or that product then it is YOUR choice to choose which product to own from whatever country.[:)] Whether it be a tv, car or FS RC. Wamarts ILO, Sanyo, Memorx, all are Chineese but I always buy Sony over all them, because I can afford it.[;)] There is a segment of people that can't afford Sony so for them walmart brands are affordable. [8|] I've talked to some FS owners, that say FS is real good for the money. I wont bash FS if it was junk and it appears it isn't. If it was, thats a different story. I will tell the truth. [>:] Hobby101.com I have mentioned in past forums hobby101.com bashs XTM, CEN and all other shops to direct customers to there own shop. They have spread alot of untruths that has hurt other shops and RC products. I choose not to go to this shop and others like me. [:'(] Now if (for example) FS was bashing MCD saying there cheaper. this would be fine this is true. If they said there better than MCD then this would be an untruth and it would hurt MCD. Then I would reconsider ever purschasing a FS RC What I'm saying is sure there may be copycats out there, but thats all it is, it a copycat

For the price MCD is asking it better, be better in the quality department and of course it is. But for those who can't afford a MCD and I know a lot of people who can't, the FS is a good option to consider. FS is the kind of RC u just use up have fun with and get your moneys worth out of it. [:D] At least a person can say they experienced 1/5 scale because it was affordable.[;)]

Time will tell, hopefully if greedy shop owners stay out of the picture, FS will continue to be affordable to all. Iv'e seen good products destroyed overnight by shops saying to themselves WOW this rc is selling like mad lets raise the price to make more money. Now of course some of you are saying whats wrong with making more profit (money) this is america wont you do this too Browley

I keep hearing clones are china made and there engines too. Well isn't everything these days made in china. [8|] When you go get a traxxas part look at its label China, Hpi same thing China, Losi u guessed it Ch Cha CHINA ! I almost bet that MCD is china stuff too.[:(] I dont care if it's china made unless it states otherwise, if it's good stuff - who's cares ! So my point is, is MCD worth the money if lets say the suspension arms are a little thicker nylon mold, or this or that part is slightly better is it still worth three times as much as a FS ? [:-] I dont think so. FS has produced a good quality truck for the money and those complaining about the electronics just change out the receiver and put in an FM transmitter. I'm sure u have an extra one laying around somewere. There is an FS video floating around http://youtube.com/watch?v=mKvFrBqQgDQ check it out the wheel issue "BENDYs" has been solved with the 2nd generation FS trucks. [:D] Look real closely at this video these things can take a beating, and they can jump too. The engines sound great in them ! I happened to go on ebay and type in FS trucks. LOL and behold people are bidding on them right and left. Buying them like hotcakes ! I am thinking wow the affordable MCD of 1/5 4wd has arrived. In the past before FS came out I would go on ebay and type in MCD no one I see really ever bid on there vechicles $1600.00 something for a roller? Unless u are rich, I dont think so and dont care about money $1600.00 for a barebones kit naaagh.[:'(] I've looked on the forums of large scale RC and see the tone of people are changinging about FS clones. It's like people responses is well it's a clone......... but i'd like to buy one. [sm=50_50.gif] You all know why, because it's affordable and from what I've been reading FS are good trucks for the money, there not junk as the CLONE persona name gives. I dont think this would happen but if MCD lowered there prices to almost FS levels they would be admiting guilt of overpricing there RC's. If FS was to come in the U.S to sell, only a few shops would take them in, these vechices bring in custmers in the door. Why shops dont like FS clones because they can't make profit on them like MCD.[>:] Shops raise the price on an FS to $1600.00 and ebay is selling them for $800.00 people aren't going to go for that, they'll just be dust collectors. This has been true of cheap priced RC's, shops love profit making of expensive RC's. Thank u ebay ! [:)] For my own two cents in and I dont care if someone says there a clone or whatever. If FS can give the same performance and to some levels Quality as MCD for more than half the price, I'd go to FS anyday ! Hey if you think of it, if a person had alot of money, they can buy almost 3 FS vechicles for one MCD. Not Bad ! [:D]

Dogman nice servo mod. When you jump your nemesis, does it prematurely nose dive because of the battery pack in the front ? Or is there no differance with that packvup front.

Im glad I have a gst, the power is really unbeatable. It is a torque monster. Ain't it something I heard from so many how that shop preached how junky crap CEN is and now there SELLING CEN ! That only makes that shop look like they dont know what there talking about. What there's excuse there was a revised GST that was better or someone bought out Cen. I think they should apologize to Cen but then again I am surprised that Cen is selling to this Shop after what they have said about them. [&:]
