RE: GP F-86 micro edf
No, there is a "U" shape wire that connects both elevators to the servo. It is flexing causing the problem. Bob

As far as I know there has never been a wing spar failure other than after the plane hit a tree. I'm flying mine stock with no mods other than electric powered. Mine is one of the 1st ones in country. Bob

RE: KMP F-7F Tigercat
Mine is one of the original all composite. I have two Hacker A60-6SX motors , Hacker X-110 ESC (mounted in the nacelle) and 2 each 6S 6800ma XPS LiPo pack in the nose. Mine 100% box stock other than the electric conversion. Flies great! 89 AMPs on a 19 x 12 APC electric prop. I'm using three receivers for the servos. Take off is at 1/2 throttle. So far no problems with battery wire length to the ESC. Bob

1st flight of my Tigercat. RTF weight 25 lbs. Hacker A60-6SX motors on 6S 6800 ma Lipo pack swinging a 19 x 12 APC prop. Pulls 89 AMPS at 6000 RPM. Nose collapsed due nose wheel locking up on axial. Has three recievers, XPS Nano in each wing and 8 channel in fuselage. Bob

RE: EDF Producing 46 Pounds of Thrust
Being I'm the guy in Phoenix with the PST Electric Panther. I enjoy the way mine flies with the XPS Dynamax on 12S at 95 AMPS RTF 26 lbs. I realize it is not in the same league as k sonn's Panther. Which is awesome! Mine is a low cost $499.00 power system plus Spin 200 (used ) and 12S 6800ma LiPo which I can get 4 to 5 min flights. It flies just the way I like it. The Schubeler fans are very well made and have great performance, but out of my price range. I'll have mine at the Az Jet Rally in a few weeks. Hope to see some of you there. Bob

Thanks, keep us posted. The HOTT system in Europe is rated at 100mw that is why I'm concerned with the US version being only 12mw per the FCC docs. Bob

RE: KMP F-7F Tigercat
Ran mine up for taxi test. Using APC 19-12 electric prop and 6S 6800ma XPS LiPo was pulling 89 AMPs about 1900 WATTS per side. Plenty of power. If everything checks out 1st flight is this Sat. Bob

RE: KMP F-7F Tigercat
Started building my KMP Tigercat ARF. This is the all composite version. Has 11 servos and three receivers (one 6 channel Nano in each wing and 8 channel in the fuselage). Nice thing about these receivers I can reverse the servo at the receiver after I assign channel to pin locations on them. So for the receivers in the wing I have four flap channels (2 each receiver) and I reverse them as needed also adjust to get the correct throw ( like match boxes). The motor I'm using is the new Hacker A60-6SX. Going with a 18 x 11 three bladed prop with XPS 6S 6800 ma LiPo pack. Working to have it ready for the "Big Jolt" fly-in at the end of the month. Feel free to ask any questions. Bob

RE: AirShowRC VERTIGO Rebel
Progress is being made. [:D] Had the CG checked where I work (Boeing Aircraft) to double check me(Aero Engineer). The CG needs to be on the forward spar. The marks on the fuselage makes the plane too nose heavy. On the video you can see the amount of up need to maintain somewhat level flight, about 3/4 up. Also going with 4" fan, 127mm fan could not breath, inlet is too small but perfect for 4"(100 mm). Working to have it flying by the middle of May. I'll keep you posted of progress. Bob
