my struts weren't pre bent either. Did you get yours bent? how did you do it. or were they mistakenly sent straight?

thats the only thing that hasn't gone together well. Nobody wants to boast about their planes! Maybe they don't fly well, though I doubt it . Please, please someone show us something thats at least covered!

RE: Pitts M12 26% plans available soon
Art, I don't know anything about the super tiger. might end up a tad light up front. Have you started building yet? Ive got the lower wing, tail and the fuse formed up. Goes together very nicely. In fact i'm very impressed with the design. I' m surprised this thread isn't a little more active. I would really like to hear how it flies.

RE: Pitts M12 26% plans available soon
It's here and it looks fantastic (and heavy)! came on my day off, gonna start the tail. thinking about drilling some holes maybe replacing some formers with lighter stock. the plans fit my fpe 3.2 like a glove fire wall to front of cowl is perfect!

RE: FPE 3.2
Thanks for the info. I have a chance to buy one at $350. I need a 50 for a biplane project. plane should be about 16 lbs. I like to dabble in 3d but I'm not hard core (if I was, I think i would pay the extra money for a DA.

RE: how to rotate a carb
I don't really know too much about the old one other than it was all white and that people sure seemed to like it. I will say that I'm very impressed with what I've seen thus far with this one. huge control surfaces, ailerons nearly to the root, light wieght, very nice colors and quality. i bought this thing on a whim (hence the .72) and so far I'm happy. haven't heard anything about how it flies yet.
