Dont worry, we are all far from pro. Check out www.mini-iac.com for the sequences and check out FG for videos on how it should look. The basic sequence is a great way to start.

Well the first day was a success with almost 3 rounds flown. We have to finish intermediate tomorrow due to the rain. We should get in an unknown and 2 rounds tomorrow along with the freestyle. The weather is looking good to get everyone out by 2 ish.

That stuff is going to be to big. I would try SIG. They still sell a 1/4 scale cap and would probably have a canopy and gear.

OS61FX vs OS91FS
Guys, which do you think is going to power a 10 pound pattern plane better? I know the answer is niether but I have an old plane that is a tank that I want to get going and I am trying to find the most performance for the buck. I know a YS110 might be the best for it but I dont want to drop the coin on this airplane.

Just wondering if you guys can help. How far do you think I could get the tank from the engine and not need a pump? And would it make a difference if I added an extra tap for pressure on the muffler? Also does anyone know if this engine will swing the old ys61nprops like a 12x12?

OMP 80" Fusion
Would I be allowed to compete in the higher classes with an Ohio Model Producs Fusion. I realize I would have to shorten the wings a touch. I would like to hit 1 or 2 pattern contest and this would be the closest thing I would have to a pattern plane.

RE: Carl Goldberg Sukhoi w/O.S. AX 1.20 Power - CG Question
From upright pull the plane into a WOT 45 degree upline and roll inverted, hold it on the the 45 for a sec then let go of the elevator. The plane should track straight for a second then start a nice gradual arc. If you let off and it stays on a perfect 45 or climbs its tail heavy. If it dives toward the canopy its nose heavy. Check this link out for plane trimming: http://www.mini-iac.com/Portals/57ad7180-c5e7-49f5-b282-c6475cdb7ee7/PGoldsmith%20on%20trimming.pdf

Would it change anything if I left the recievers seperated and ran extensions(or had you make me one with longer leads) and then split each battery output so that both rx's get the dual power??

Cool, me and randy used to swap alot of paint racing off-road buggies( mostly my front bumper and his motorplate). I need to give him a call, I know he just got a 600N up and running. Let me know if you need anything regaurding the precision flight.

RE: Stay tuned, Extreme Aircraft Extra 300 on the way
Those fixes sound like they will be fine. I dont think the wings are as bad as first feared. Hub flies unlimited on his and does plenty of snaps and freestyle. What killed mine was alot of stupid highspeed walls. I have another set of builtup wings and plan to use them. I would crank up the heat and weld that covering down. It is a very nice flying plane!!
