Full Assembly Manual
Does anyone out there know if a full assembly manual exists for the MGT 8.0? I have the exploded view and the standard manual, but neither has step by step instructions. I completly tore down my truck and I am needing a little help putting it back together. Thanks!

RE: My gst 7.7 won't shift
The link that you posted says to set the LSN at 2.5 in from flush. Is this correct? I have seen other documents that say from flush to 1 turn out. Can anyone out there definitivly say which setting is correct? Thanks Keith

Has anyone out there put a .28 in a CT5? I have seen the videos so I know that it can be done. I am just curious about the exhaust header and whether the motor mounts needed to be modded. Any advice will be much appreciated! Keith Cable

Motor Swaps
I have a few questions that I was hoping the "brain trust" could help me with. 1. I bought a Corsa 5.0 off ebay. For some reason I had it in my head that this the new motor for the GST7.7. I was wrong. So now that I'm stuck with it, I think that I am going to install it in my Matrix Arena TR. Will it just drop in? 2. Assuming that the Corsa 5.0 will work in my Matrix Arena, can I use my SH28 in my CT5? If so, will it just drop in? Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to provide. Keith Cable

RE: IV Ti has gone bonkers
It could also be a bad gyro or broken solder joint. You could try hitting all of the solder joints with a little heat from a soldering iron. If that does not work Mike from spectrolutions will fix it for a $50 flat fee. http://www.spectrolutions.com/ Keith Cable

RE: Electronics help
They filter out the RF noise created by the motors. Without them you risk a serious crash caused by the interference. I would not fly the DF with even the smallest crack! They are too cheap to risk a crash by not using them.

CT-5 Transmission
My Ct-5 is all of a sudden running like its stuck in second. It is very sluggish. In fact it barly rolls until the motor is winding out. Any good tutorials on rebulding the tranny out there? Should the first and second spur gear spin independantly or should they be locked together? Thanks...

I pointed out the same issue with the GST document, to CEN, a few months ago. My engine seems to run best with the LSN closer to flush. Does anyone out there think that this is too lean?

no need to apologize. I feel like at one time the CEN shift adjustment document had the default positions. however it currently does not. maybe CEN can shed some light.

RE: Default position for 2nd and 3rd gear adjustment screws
Are you refering to full turns or 1/8 turns? If you are refering to full turns, I don't think that is correct. The scews are binding on the housing at around 3 full turns.

Default position for 2nd and 3rd gear adjustment screws
Can anyone out there suggest a good starting point for the 2nd and 3rd gear adjustment scews? I called CEN and the tech said that 2nd should be 2.5 turns out from bottom and 3rd should be 3.5. This cant be right because this causes the screws to bind on the housing. I'm hoping to revert the shift points without pulling the tranny. Thanks...

RE: GST 7.7 NOT MADE TO RUN, BUT NICE TO LOOK AT!!!
If he spent half as much time trying to find a solution as he spent complaining about the problem, I have a feeling that he would love the GST as much as the rest of us. Jamie, next time you have an issue try asking for help instead of instantly talking smack about the truck and the forum. "You get more flys with honey than with vinegar."

#3 or #5 glow plugs
I just recieved some CEN #3 glow plugs that I ordered off of Ebay. I have been using #5's till now. What's the difference? Can I use a #3 in a GST 7.7, Matrix TR or a CT5?

To Roto Start Or Not To Roto Start...
I have installed the roto start and I'm not sure if I like it. It seems to me that it would be easier to just to keep the pull starter on. I hate having to lug that thing around. On top of that, it started to smoke the last time I used it. It now does not have enough power to turn the engine over. I'm fairly sure that the device was defective I only used it twice and did not crank on the motor very long. I'm toying with just putting the pull start back on. Any thoughts?
