RE: Kudos Kingtech service!
ORIGINAL: makis Hi guys, Although I'm a newcomer to jets, I have only good words to say about this superb turbines! I own a K80F with 6 hours flying and every time it runs flowlessly with incredible power! I also own a K100G which it's still BNIB, but I have no doubt that it will be an excellent tool as well! As for the service I haven't got personal experience yet, but I noticed some minor problems concerned other aeromodellers, to be solved quite easily and quickly at no cost at all!! Kingtech and Barry are make the difference, keep up the good work!! [;)]
Maki, You've seen my K100 on the job, on Saturday....no more doubts about this jewel, right?[;)] Chris
ORIGINAL: FreakyDude
ORIGINAL: Jim Cattanach
ORIGINAL: do335a ''I was sad to see my recent thread deleted. It may not have shown jet modelling in a good light,'' This has nothing to do with modelling. It's about a misguided, deluded moron who does not understand modelling at all. He has no clue about the operational considerations and limitations of RC jet models. So much for his physics studies. ''but it was factual. It was reported by Reuters, a well respected news agency'' Reuters. Big deal. Well respected by whom? And so what? That and 5 bucks will get you a cup of coffee. ''& was of interest.'' Interest to whom? ''I never thought that RC Universe was in the business of trying to hide the truth & deny freedom of speech. I was obviously so wrong. My eyes have been opened by this blatant censorship.'' It's their gate. If you don't like it, don't swing on it. They decide what postings stay and which go. You have no say. It's their show. Nothing of interest in that item for this community. Nothing has been denied or hidden by RCU removing your post. RCU has not suppressed Reuters' report or Google's reference to it. ''So much for land of the free.'' Cyprus, you say? Land of the free? You ain't even anywhere near the USA if that's the place you mean. Got nothing to do with you what they do there. ''I did not get as much as an explanation for its removal.'' You are owed nothing. And that's what you got. Doesn't mean I agree or disagree. That's just the way it is.
If that is typical of the attitude of your people, I personally am glad I am not in Canada.
this is not a Canadian attitude and please do not let the opinions of this person reflect on any Canadian other than the poster of the thread. Wether he is right or wrong though he is allowed his opinion. Personally I am glad you don't live in Canada as well. If you read the rantings of one person and expect it to be atypical of a people at large then I would think it is your opinion that should be questioned. I mean your in Cypruss, didn't Canada have peacekeeping troops in your country for decades so you could sleep safe and sound at night?
Did you ever ask yourself WHY we need Peacekeeping forces, so that we can, supposedly, sleep safe at night??? Or do you ever think that once the aggressor decides to attack, the UN Forces will try to defend us from the aggression?? They'll be the first ones out to safety!!! As for Democracy and freedom of speech, you are lucky enough, you had a bunch of Greeks to have invented both, as well as the word itself, for you to use freely! Chris

One wing parted company during the fourth flight, due to cheap quality aileron servo plywood mount, total loss, apart of the airframe, in a fireball of brand new Booster160, Futaba brushless servos, Powerbox Champion, etc. etc.! To summon up...you are still lucky, I wasn't! Expensive lesson learned, we move on! But never a Chinese, rice paper-and-bird's nest soup airframe, ever again! Chris
