RE: Turnigy Lipos
"I have close to a HUNDRED Turnigy, Nano, Zippy, Rhino packs now." If you have that many, please tell us which of these have worked the best. I have tried a couple of each of these but the 2 nano I bought both puffed up bad within 2 flights each and I don't know if I just received a bad batch or what. Which of all those are the best? What about Gens ace? Thanks....

RE: Phase 3 F-16 Question
I have it. Flies great. Just let off the elevator control when you touch down so you don't hurt your tail controls in the grass. Mine is stock but before you glue on the wings paint just the top sides bright red or something you like that is highly visible. Also paint the top of the tail pieces before glueing. Very very helpful and forget the stickers that came with it except maybe use the black stripes for the bottom.

RC Lander F9f 70mm jet from Nitroplanes
Just bought it, wondering what servos are required. I like HXT-900 9 gram servos but I am wondering if the gears will strip on them if used in this plane? Also I need to know what motor and esc, preferably Turnigy. I plan on using 4s batteries. Also, make sure we are on the same plane...the 70mm not the 68mm.

RE: Aerovate Engines
Hey, It's been a while now since the post on the waco with the aerovate 20 so I wondered if you had any complaints about the motor or plane? I am probably going to buy both and wanted to ask before I buy. Any problems or hints you can tell me about the plane or motor would be appreciated. I am going to buy soon. Also, do you think they have replacement parts, and can you still get the sig covering in solid colors? If not, what do you use for repairs that matches? I am tired of buying chinese made planes that I can't replace the covering or cowls for and wanted a quality plane this time around. Thanks alot!

Rich Models P47
I just bought the Rich Models Brand 120 size P47 arf. There is a green one and a silver one with black stripes. I can't find any information on it on this website. I am putting the Zenoah 20ei gas engine in it. Has anyone built one and have any tips? Lets talk about this plane. There is hardly any information on the P47 at all on this website. Thanks.

RE: Let's See Your SlowPokes
Hey, This is for you and for some of the other guys to read. I just put it all in one reply, I hope that doesn't bother you. I looked at the link you put on here. That would look good. Really cool. I think the german me109 look would be good, with camo or something like the little gws me109. I took forever to build my slowpoke. Maybe I am a perfectionist. The whole top of the wing is smooth, no sharp edges to create turbulence as you run your finger down the bare wood between the spars. Less turbulence will create a better, smoother flying aircraft which will give you less chance of crashing the plane. I don't build much, so when I do, I do it very carefully to get it perfect. It's funny, I put Bilgecote under the engine in the compartment the engine sits on. It is a bilge paint for boat bilges to protect against all kinds of grease, gas, diesel, sludge, etc. It is grey. I had it already and it worked great. I just knew my engine would drip a drop or two into this compartment and soak into the wood and eventually mess up the wood like another plane I have where I tried epoxy to protect it. The epoxy didn't last over the years. I put sig yellow covering on the wings, the sig was superior to the monokote brand hands down. Thicker and easier to work with. I put covering on the engine mount and in the cockpit. It needs covering where the engine mounts in my opinion or else you have bare wood up there. I wish I could take the lead out of the nose though. cya

RE: Let's See Your SlowPokes
is in the middle. The on/off switch is in the cockpit to look like a control. Thanks for the complement, Todd
