I agree, but this model airplane is an area of approximately =1.5m² = 16sqft monokoteTOPQ0304 Weight = 0.2 oz / sq ft (61 g / m²) = 90grs=3,17oz. ultracote Weight: 0.12 oz per square ft (36.6 g / m²). = 54.9 grs=1,94oz. (90 -54.9) = 35.1 grams = 1.2 oz.

RE: Kadetito
ORIGINAL: hllywdb I have built a ton of Jr Falcons and 1/2A Kadet style planes from 2 channel to four. They turn great on rudder if you have Kadet Senoir style dihedral. Ailerons also work great and you can build the wing close to flat. At dead flat you can get away with just 3/4'' ailerons if you seal the gaps. The more dihedral you put in, the more aileron throw and size you will need to counteract the dihedral. If you go full Kadet dihedral the ailerons become ineffective and you will be using your rudder to get it back safely, yep, done that[:D]
My idea is to use as the dihedral LST 1/2A trainer who has 5° of dihedral without ailerons and 3 ° dihedral with ailerons. I do not think about using false spoiler, I intend to do within the wing structure as the photos below.

Thanks for the information. The sig does Kadet ep42 with aileron, then there was the idea of doing aileron (think of + - 1 "or 1" 1/4).any idea? I think when i buy the materials needed, I will only use hard wood at the bottom too. Its Sheeting was perfect. My idea is to use 21st Century Microlite Covering Coverite, to further reduce weight.
ORIGINAL: Wagon1 Thanks for all the kind words and guidance guys! I finally got her into the air this morning. bolar is right, she flies just like the big one. I lucked out and remembered I forgot the servo arm screws as I was about to land, but they held on (lesson learned). The TT .07 is a good match for this plane... nice throttle response, but not much high end. Pretty much what you want in this airframe. It was probably a bit to windy (I just couldn't stand it though) and I busted the prop on my second flight. I have a 6 X 4 I will try. Thanks again for all the help!!
Followed from the beginning your topic, my congratulations Until now awaiting news. How was the flight propeller 6X4 ? I got the plan and think about doing kadetito wing with reduced weight, but I also think of using aileron and 3 ° dihedral. What is the final weight of your kadetito, with or without motor ?

I can't wait to put this one in the water and see what she will do.
I really liked the look. Have you measured the center of gravity, all assembled ?

RE: Dumas SK Daddle 36
ORIGINAL: Steve Landron Thanks for all of the great posts! As far as the ASP .46 marine, performance wise the boat pulls hard. Right now, I'm breaking in the engine and don't have the radio installed so I have to run the throttle by hand, it's really amaizing how much that little engine pulls the boat. Yesterday I used a big blue tub to break the engine in with and I kept having to fill the tub back up, the engine churned up that much water. I need a better way to run the engine and I think I have it, It involves a small child and a wheel barrel, okay just the wheel barrel. I have included a picture of the boats hull, it's not pretty and I'm currently running stock Dumas hardware ,http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/post.asp?do=reply&q=1&messageID=11071543&toStyle=tm# (even the cheap plastic prop) untill I can get an Octura 440 prop and rudder hardware. It's a fun project and even better condsidering I did not think I could get this one running. What's nice about this and my other RC stuff, it keeps me from getting into too much trouble.
I'm building a boat, but with asp 21m motor with propeller 440 and shown to be an asp 46m of 45 mm. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10718154/tm.htm I have not brakein the engine and left for another building, crackerbox I changed my starter go25 by a marine and I'll put it

I believe that with the pics to protect the propeller, some airboats manufacturers, in their posts will encourage the use of protection. That would be the minimum to be done.
