Bearing retainer falling apart!
Has anybody experienced their rear main bearing retainer falling apart, or is it just me? The rear main bearing retainer is normally made of nylon or plastic. I had radio interference in my truck and it took me a long time to find out that my bearings were grinding because the retainer fell apart in pieces and the bearings were off to one side. Piston and sleeve were ruined. I know it's not the heat because my truck never went over 260 deg. I suspect fuel, but who knows!

RE: t-maxx 3.3 or revo 3.3?
If I have the money, I'll buy both! T-max for bashing, revo for racing. The t-max 3.3 frame is not extended and will tend to do a wheelie during a race. Wheelies are not got for racing! But they're good when you show-off at the local park! People just get so impressed watching a nitro truck scream. You'll be surprised how girls like nitro trucks!![;)]

RE: i am getting a Tmax 3.3!! woo hoo
Oh no! Please don't bash that truck! It looks too good to bash. Put it right beside your bed and cherish it!! (haha!) Anyway, if I were you, I'd invest on an $60 air compressor with a 2 gallon tank for cleaning it! Compressed air is the best way to keep your truck clean!!

Revo hub extension!
Hey guys! What's with this revo axle hub extension that's suppose to make the truck wider. Can they really improve handling? What about durability, is worth investing money in?

RE: question about the revo
Don'y worry! My revo always has it's antenna wrapped around the roll bar. It's not even sticking out. It's still good up to a quarter mile as long as the battery is good!

Big block kits!
I am planning to install a big block kit for my Revo. I called traxxas and they told me that I cannot use my roto-start anymore. They said i have to use a starter box. But I have seen some racers in the track that uses roto-start. I prefer using the roto-start coz it's easy to carry anywhere. Even in the park! Traxxas said there may be no room for roto-start. Hmmmmm! Has anybody done it using a roto-start? I'm planning to install my sts.30 on it!

RE: DTX .18 Tuning Help Please
What about a brand new fresh fuel! I don't know how fresh your fuel is, but old fuel will do that to you.

Ofna force .32
I heard a few things about the ofna force .32. Does anybody out there knows how good this motor is? I'm planning to replace my SH .28 on my XLB and I'm wondering if it's worth using the ofna force .32. Thanks!

RE: SH .28 engine?
Great engine! I'm very happy with the performance. But bad news on the one-way bearing. They don't last very long. They're are a lot of motors with internal one-way bearings. The oil from the fuel never affected them. Hobby People told me the fuel in the SH.28 crank case makes the one-way bearing slip. "BAD DESIGN". They should've put the bearing outside the block. Or design a better bearing!
