Walkera 76
Hi, I'm having a slight problem with my Walkera 76. When at half throttle the 76 isnt even light on skids, a touch more throttle still nothing, a touch more, then the thing flies straight up with out warning, after bringing it down and stopping . then trying again ....it runs fine, for a while ..then the problem occurs again after a couple of flights. any ideas... seems like a power surge or something. the 76 is running on stock parts except for the lipo battery's I use. I'm new to this and have mastered hovering. but this problem is making it hard to try other things as it behaves eractic. it was fine before, but the problem started after a minor crash, Cheers Ian

RE: Thinking of getting a jato.
I own a Traxxas Jato 3.3 , first day running it in ,had a very small bump in a wall and bent one of the front turnbuckles... replaced those with the red aluminium ones and it rocks..turned it over a few times with no damage except for slight scratch on shell ,but bought a new Shell and fitted lights (front headlights, fog lamps, rear lights with braking lamps ,Just so I can race at night [:)]) and new off road tyres. So yeh if you like speed ..Get one.. Straycat

Clutch Bell keeps breaking on my 1/10 buggy..help
Hey All, Has anyone got any ideas why my clutch bell keeps breaking..I've broke two within 3 weeks.. the buggy is a 1/10 Hot lava buggy I bought from Nitrotek in the uk. the parts are expensive to replace but found a cheaper place in the USA so ordered 2 from there.. Any help would be much appreciated.. I have also replaced the clutch a few weeks ago that comes with the two small spring clips as the old one broke the first time the clutch bell sheared from its housing.. Thanks Straycat

RE: walkera 60 tail rotor problem after upgrades
Thanx GreenRacer , I think the problem may be the belt twisted... Is the tail supposed to go counter clockwise opposed to the main rotors going clockwise.. both the tail and the main blades are going CW.. Thinking it was more of a technical problem. Thanks Straycat (catstray)

walkera 60 tail rotor problem after upgrades
Hey All, After a minor crash the other week.. decided to upgrade my walkera 60 to the metal head, tail rotor, boom etc...anyways after a hours of installing, checking.and checking again did the reciever and tx thing..swapping plugs over etc....decided to try her out ..only to find I cannot stop it spinning anticlockwise..did some checks ,read forums, did checks again rotor blades on backwards..ooer...oops..put them on the right way, checked that the main rotor and tail was spinning in the same direction thinking the belt was on the wrong way.nope all was good there ,last check and the damn thing still keeps spinning..cant even trim the spin and with full left rudder.. now my nephew , who flys the big petrol helis.. checked it out .. he said ..its a simple solution but he cant work it out.. which leaves me with you guys... so your help would be very much appreciated..THANX

RE: Crashed Walkera 60..Please Help......
Hi HS, Thanks for your prompt reply.. about the throttle problem..soon after the crash and after I checked for more serious damage I reconnected the battery to check that the servos were ok, the throttle was set to minimum and the rotor started to rotate straight away without any input from me..I disconnected the power quickly, once I got home I removed the blades then reconnected the battery again to check for damage. this time I pushed the throttle to about 30% and it wouldnt spin up..nothing...only servos working.. once I put the throttle back to min ,it started up.. I pushed the lever back to about 30% then back down and then I had control again of the throttle... I have also replaced the blades as they were and there seems to be a lot of shaking (god I am A noob LOL )so I figured they need balancing any quick Ideas on doing this.. yep there was no bent flybar or main shaft. I dont think it was high enough to do much damaged and I throttled down as soon as it hit the ground.. do you think though that maybe that missing screw was the problem thanks Straycat

RE: WALKERA 60
Hi all, I'm a Newbie to R/C and I have just bought a Walkera HM 60. now my question is how is the battery fixed.. I've searched all over the net and sent messages to walkera about this problem and just keep getting the same info.. they send me a picture of the the helicopter with an arrow pointing under the skids saying fix here. It tells me no more than the manual does.. so I'm still not sure where its fixed or how.. can somebody please help. I also have a couple of cheaper 2 channel Heli's that I've had no problems with ( just to practice with lol). and this one scares the **** out of me.. Gonna wait till nephew shows up and shows me this baby flying as he has flew Helis for years... Thanx
