RE: Enya .45 and .19 glow engines ??
Here are the two Enya engines I recently adopted. Both seem to have decent compression and move freely. The carbs probably need to be cleaned out. They seem a little stiff.

RE: Club Enya
Thanks for the info. They well be put to good use! I am restoring my old Sr Falcon. I ran it with a webra .40 back in the 80s. It flew well enough, but it I think it would fly better with the Enya .45. The .19 may go into another project. I am thinking of some sort of small aileron - ugly-stick type flyer.

RE: AR600 & AR6210 What is the difference
I was flying with an AR500 back in January. I had a confirmed brown-out failure which caused a crash. Range was not an issue. I was just decending from >1,000 ft in a dynaflight butterfly. On final approach, lost control and sprialed down OOC. Sent the Tx/Rx back to HH. They would not admit fault, but sent me out a new Dx5e (DSMX) with an AR600. I now have about 7 flights on the AR600 without any issues. This in in smaller electric glider (FWIW). I upgraded to the AR6210 for the butterfly. That plane can fly so high, that I really wanted the extra safety of a sat Rx. I feel much better know. Everyone I have talked to says the AR600 is reliable. It just looks TOO much like the AR500 for me to feel great about it for now. There is a reason why HH has put great big orange stickers that says "Now included AR600 with DSMX". Even if they wont admit it, they lost a lot of credibility with the high failure rates on the AR500 units. I was amazed that the problems with the AR500 was all over the internet when I searched (post crash). Their support staff seemed to have NO idea that there was an issue. Really? !! My company would have issued a full scale recall rather that allow the reputaion to be damaged. ......Whatever. mark

Enya .45 and .19 glow engines ??
I just received a couple of old Enya 2cyle glow engines. I probably saved them from the trash bin, where they were headed. There are and Enya .45 and a .19, They both appear to be 10+ years old.  They turn freely and appear to have good compression. Am am still flying glow powered and like the smaller trainers and motor-gliders. The plane I am flying mostely now is an Bearings for most OS engines. High quality at lowest prices. RC-Bearings.com OS .15 powered dynaflight butterfly. I have had no experience with Enya engines in the past. I have had only OS, supertiger, Thindertiger and webra engines. Are these decent engines? Are they worth cleaning up and using? I don't even know if they are ringed / bearings etc. Any info would help.

RE: Got Gas Sport for Ryobi 31cc
I would love to see more on this plane and your upgrades. I have been getting back in to RC building / flying after several years away. Currently working on a .15 glow powered glider/trainer with my son. I am already thinking about my next build project and always wanted a larger sized aerobatic plane. I have 2 or 3 old Ryobi 31cc trimmers collecting dust in the garage and I love the idea of putting together air motor conversion with one of these.
