RE: has anyone ever tried that fuel additive that has different smells?
I use the vanilla so the nitro doesnt bother my wife. Apparently you can use it in your car as well. Imagine then a pizza scented one.

T-maxx O.S. .18 cvr
I am getting quite annoyed trying to start the break in procedure. This is the first time for me breaking in an engine. I have the hs turned out 2 turns minus 30 degrees and it always wants to flood. I dont want to lean it out anymore because im afraid it wont get enough lube. When turning the hs out am I correct to assume that it is full turns and nt half turns?

RE: Eldorada top plate
I do have the humpack battery. looks like i need 2 of the battery cover parts to hold it in place. I will take pics and post them. I found these on the himotoracing.com site. The antenna mount is not offered, I think that people who buy this part should also get any necessary parts with it as a kit.

Eldorada top plate
I am installing an aluminum upper plate for my eldorada. I have the reciever case and cover, the battery cover and the plate. It looks like I may be missing some supports and an antenna nut? Can anyone clarify this for me?

RE: Anyone know what to do about a stripped screw?
From what I understand from his post, it is one of the 4 bolts holding the engine down. I agree with removing your cooling head and using a drill. if you are afraid of fillings cover the openings with masking tape. Being over the screw is alot better than trying to get it from the side and having it skate off and damage something else.

RE: Quitting once it reaches 200-215
When retuning it, do you have the factory specs? Are you too rich to start with at that point.

O.S. .18 cv-rx
Hey there, First post here. Is it usually hard to initially start these engines? I made sure that I had 1mm in the carb and the 2 turns out as manual specified. Glow plug and igniter work. I gave up after about 15 minutes. It did fire but then died. Oh and I lost some skin in between my fingers [:D]

RE: Himoto suggestion box
I dont know if it has been changed since ive had mine, but a better real description of what the parts actually are would be nice. It would help clarify things when ordering parts so you get what you thought it was. Maybe a re-translated manual with fewer english mistakes.

What a silly poll to have. Too many makers and personal preferences. Anyway people vote others will be unhappy and bash, I say just love it for the hobby, just say no to walmart cars :)

Eldorada
Hey there. I have recently sold my himoto eldorada to a co-worker who bought a sh .18 engine for it and I told him I would install it and break it in for him. Problem is, is that the old vtx .18 shaft is longer and has a flat spot in it for the flywheel and the sh .18 is round. Is there a flywheel that would fit? I believe I need a collet as well.
