RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Hi Mike, don't do that. do not use a P140. To heavy, to much power. We flew our at JetPower this weekend. As I wrote, I use a Merlin 100, cuted out the ducts, removed the tanks more to the rear, the CG is by 3,5cm behind the original and the t/o weight is with 2,4l kero and 0,75 somke 12,34kg. With htis motor the Viper goes very fast, we had only by one straight and level flight the power of full throttle. You can fly loops as big as you want. But that's just only my opinion and the experience of nearly 30 flights with the little Viper. http://images.rcuniverse.com/forum/upfiles/577771/Sn41902.jpg Christian Final-Modellbau.de
how far back is the c.g from the original location?
Hi Jeremy, For the first flight the Viper was light noseheavy. I will check next flight. I removed first the half of the led and now all. No flight without all the led, but should be good. Christian

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Hello, it is done. I think, the first Viper is flown in Europe. It is fun, fun, fun to fly the Viper. Installed is JetsMunt VT 100, Graupner HOTT MC 32 Servos all Graupner DES 707 BBMG and I removed the 200g led after the third flight. Power is more than enough. Flighttime with the fuel is 8-10 minutes. All settings are used as recomended.

RE: JET LEGEND VIPER BUILD THREAD
Hi all, this Saturday should be the maiden flight, but the weahter condition is very bad. Rain and a strong wind. I installed landinglights in the wings. I used little reflectors and very strong 5mm LED's. The LED's can be powered with 1S LiPo. Christian

RE: Global JetClub Mig 15 arrives
Yeah, today maiden flight is done. No any problem, the MiG 15 flies great. I think, the Merlin 100 ist the best choise for the MiG. The new springs for the main LG are 1,4mm spring steel 34mm long and 8 1/2 turns I got the spring from a friend. More pics only from the first flight here! http://www.final-modellbau.de/index.php?view=category&catid=9&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=45 Christian

RE: Lambert Microturbines contact?
I for one will never buy a lambert turbine.
do that and all will be good for you. I know, a repair can takes longer by martin lambert, but I also know what I have with a Kolibri. Martin Lambert is alone with all the work. If you buy a Kolibri, you have to know, that it can take sometimes a little bit longer. Christian

RE: Global JetClub Mig 15 arrives
Hello, I didn't test it up to now, but it looks good. If are the weather condition at Saturday good, the MiG will get up in the air. Let me test it first. I will inform you. As i told, my MiG 15 is to havy, should be only for stadic display, dry weight is 9,700 kg or 21,38 lbs. But I saw, Micks dry weight is 10,7 kg. I will try the CG from Mike. RE: What do you think about JETLEGEND L39?
presumably they have a longer stroke?
Yes. I took a pair ultraprecision out of my personal stock. The cylinders are thicker (11,1mm) and have more power and I had to limited the stroke with a collar. Christian

RE: What do you think about JETLEGEND L39?
Hello, the problem with the doors is the attachment point of the air-cylinder. Take a new one, more away from the axis of rotation of the hinges and all will be good. Christian

Hi, have a look at GlobalJetClub, I just finished the MiG 15 from MIke with the Merlin 100. I think, it will be a good combination. The JL Hawk or T-45 will be also a good choise. Maiden flight will be soon (weathercondition) Christian

RE: Global JetClub Mig 15 arrives
Hello, we, Final-Modellbau, took the display MiG 15 from GJC at JetPower with us. Mike told us, it is a prototyp, to heavy and for display purposes. But the MiG looks so good, that I started building. Now I have a dry weight of 17,6 lbs (nearly exactly 8 kg), with all equipment (servos, batteries, wires, valves) but without the turbine and may needed lead. Which turbine I install, I can not say yet (have to buy it). P 100, BF 100 or JetsMunt Merlin. Christian
