RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
So I guess I'll go to a redcat dealer and see if the tornado has the ground clearance i want. Anyone know of any redcat shops in NJ.

I also had another question. I have never replaced anything on my nitro. So what are the clutch springs?

RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread
People have told me:"get a 1/8". Mostly because it's more powerful. I don't need super power for my track. on my track: super-power=wheels spin out.

They're about 10 minutes MAX away! I actually built a track to drive my stampede on and a buggy should work good. Thanks for the help.

RE: Dumbest move ive ever made
I made a couple phone calls, no one found anything suspicious. Thing is, they deal with hundreds of thousands of of tons of junk, mostly in black bags. Unless it came out and was apparent to be non-trash, no one would notice. And anywy, there are probably tons of toy cars and other vehicle like things that go into the garbage, so even just seeing a tire or something probably wouldnt get anyones attention. Its likely that its nicely crushed and on its way to a landfil now Oh well, a lesson for us all.... just wish it wasnt a $430 lesson.
Sorry dude

Well, for the price of the MM ESC and the Motor you listed, you could get a VXL system.

Most of the people on the redcat forums have A LOT of redcat's. Why would they buy them if they were bad?

HMMM......well I've already got a nitro. A Cen CT5. I'm more or less just looking for something cheap for grass and such. I have heard from many people that the redcats are good. And not as cheap as people say.

RE: Redcat Volcano and Amax Thwarter use the same parts??
I'm sort of looking for something new. I just recently found this http://cgi.ebay.com/Traxxas-Nitro-Rustler-truck-chassis-brand-New_W0QQitemZ160151837265QQihZ006QQcategoryZ44028QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting and this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160149526768&ssPageName=MERC_VI_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores_IT&refitem=160151837265&itemcount=4&refwidgetloc=active_view_item&usedrule1=StoreCatToStoreCat&refwidgettype=cross_promot_widget They could make good cars. But does anyone own these cars. Everyone says they're horrible but no one has one.

They can be bought in Hobby stores not only ebay. Please let's not let this be a war. If you know they share the same parts, tell me. Thanks.

RE: Pictures of your redcats and other rides
Yeah. I know. This is why I have been really picky about if I should get a volcano or new batteries and a charger. I went bashing all day with my friend (who has 3300's) and it was like a dream seeing him drive for 15 minutes. Anyone find this funny. It takes over 2 hours to charge all the batteries and then I get about 15-20 minutes of runtime.

I'm getting Tenergy 4500's should I get a 7 cell?
I have heard that tenergy's batteries don't have good punch so I was thinking I would get a 7 cell. Will this burn up the motor quickly even if it's tenergy cells? I will be running this in my XL1 stampede with a Cobalt 27 turn stock mod motor.

Probably either the 5s 4000mAh maxamps or the 5000mAh 5s.
