I got the 2wd and i love it. Blew a head gasket and my new one is leakin. So i gotta find a 4mm allen for a torque wrench to torque it right. But the only thing i can find is short ones, and one long one but it come in a pack with other for 50 bucks, and they are ball heads which snap.

RE: Vortex EXP Pro turned stadium/monster truck
If its the volcano s30 or sv all vortex wheels will fit. But if its the stx or epx you will need the smaller front tires because it will rub on the linkage.

Go down your drivetrain stating at the motor and see whats spinning and whats not. Where is stops moving is where your problem is.

RE: wont shift
Your best bet is to pull the gear box apart and take a look at the 2 speed clutch. Make sure that the grub screws didn't fall out. If not locktite the grub screws on it and the put it back together. Turning the grub screw thats off center counter clockwise will make it shift earler. and turning it clockwise will make it shift later.

RE: air filter
Ya you want to use a hot plug like mick recommended. And mick is also probably right on the glow plug. I'd try another one and see if that helps.

RE: Volcano epx pro brushless issue...
Break in is really only required for nitro motors, you can break in a brushed motor, but brushless doesnt require a break in, since there is nothing touching the rotor. If its only glitching at 80+ feet, it just sounds like a frequency issue, maybe a crystal or maybe you are just getting some interference.

RE: Strange Symptom (Backdraft 8e)
I have noticed that sometimes if it wont go reverse, turn your trim on your radio up till it starts shuttering forward, then turn it back a hair so it just barely not moving forward, then it will go reverse. Sound weird but it works for me and my buddy.

RE: Diff fluids Just the basics
Its best to put some silicone diff fluid in, grease will just keep it lubed and spinning freely. But silicone diff fluid will change the characteristics of how the car runs.

If your got a good tune it should start right up, if the pinch is still real right you could heat it up with a blow drier or something to loosen it up while its cold

They shouldnt come dry, but its a mystery what weight it is. I never had a problem with stock fluid, but you could always replace it to get the desired effect you want.

RE: DSM-2C (2.4GHz Radio) Blinking green light?
Look at the batteries, sometimes the tab on the end is short so it doesnt connect to the metal. Cause mark had that happen. Same brand, nicd fit great and had a long tab, nimh didnt work cause it had a shorter tab and didnt touch

Only thing i can think of is the pullstart. Ive always wondered that but looking now if say your jumping or something, the pullstart will fall forward and hit the pipe. Looks like it would hit perfect.

RE: Redcat racing volcano EPX pro with 7-cell NiHM's?
Well if john is right it will handle it good, but since your pushing its limits it will get warmer than normal, but i would get a heat sink that redcat sells for the motor and they sell a fan for the esc. But even if you stayed with a 6 cell i would get it anyways since cooler is always better for electronics.
