Hey man I'd say keep the co axial INDOORS... any wind is going to grab the rotors and you can't correct it... if anything it's going to bring your spirits and hopes down when it's not your flying skill.. just the characteristics of a co ax... Get a good simulator, fs one or realflight, you can get fs one for 100 and realflight basic also for 100.. best investment you'll ever make.. then go ahead and get a little 4 channel fixed pitch single rotor for your outdoor practice! it's like starting from scratch and it's a whole new experience

I started with 3 channel... Parkzone Slo-V. I then moved up to a Hobbico Nexstar and joined a club, had 1 little training session with a veteran flyer at my field and soloed the next day and never looked back!

Crazy8's yeah it's the reinforced steel one.. I think I just really need to get 2 more wheel collars and really tighten up those screws, I'm gonna mess with it today and see if I can get it better

Opjose relax.. I just said I hate arguing on rcuniverse with people.. it's just not me haha I agree that both simulators are very accurate and serve there purpose, as well as any other top notch sim.... I just feel that fs one feels more like it feels at the field to ME.. everyone has an opinion

Oh man you can save some money in this store... I've ordered brushless motors that work flawless for a 5th of the price of similar motors.... great company for certain things, I wouldn't really trust a BIG purchase but I'm about to build a foamie 3d plane and I'm ordering ALL my components: Brushless motor, ESC, Lipo, and 3 servos for 50 DOLLARS!?

I don't like arguing with anyone on RCU... just not my personality so sorry to anyone I upset about Realflight! ha just an FS One fan here although I'm pissed Hangar 9 just quit on the Sim which still could be up there with G5 right now with a ton of aircraft and features... but yah Realflight is deffianatly a blast and of course it's VERY realistic to real life and is a great training aid also.. all these top notch sims are...

Alright... I think I need to add another wheel collar also.. I just have one on the outside to keep the wheel on the gear... gotta buy a couple more and put them on the inside to keep the wheels from goin loose when landing...

G4 is NOT as realistic in physics! maybe if you REALLY tweak a plane you can get it to be right but god 3d flying on Realflight is so easy it's ridiculous

Ah man I want the hobby lobby yak but EVERY color scheme is on backorder until December!? dang is there anymore planes that come with JUST the plane and not a dang motor with it, just a waste of money because I'm not gonna be using it.... does anyone know where I can find a flatouts plane without the motor?? I really like them but don't wanna pay the extra for a motor im not using

Building first foamie! Need a little help
Alright everyone.. been looking for a used foamie but nobody seems to have one they want to sell for cheap so I'm gonna go ahead and build my own... Alright I'm going to first order all my stuff for the plane. Motor, ESC, Lipo, and servos... I'm going with Hobby City to keep price low and hey, if somethin breaks I'll order another or just get one from the US haha just an experiment with the hobby city products.... Hangar 9 Miss America Landing Gear
Alright, Need some help.... I've had my Hangar 9 P 51 Miss America for about a year and a half now and ALMOST EVERY LANDING looks like crap due to the landing gear wobbling or buckling and bending, the landings are all smooth and when the tires hit the landing strip it's horrible... what in the world can I do to get this gear to hold up?? any easy fixes

Raylon firstly.. you can't really say it's the best sim on the market... FS Ones physics are closer to real life, as many many very experienced pilots have said, BUT RealFlight is AWESOME and I wanted to buy it also even though I have FS One just because of the variety of aircraft, I can find myself on Realflight for an hour at my LHS haha... Also Hangar 9 for reasons I have NO IDEA pretty much dropped Fs One well they still produce it but do NOTHING with it... I'm hoping this is because they're going to one day release a new one which I think would be and awesome simulator. But yah I kind of retracted my GAME statement just because I guess you can always choose to use the simulator as just that.. a simulator

ah man I remember my stryker... sold it off and regretting it!! never had a problem though hand launching it alone, man don't be afraid to launch it with POWER OFF, it will do it with no problem... what I did was just put full elevator up trim and throw it with power off then go to full power and it will climb out with no problem as the stryker has ridiculous power...

Alright didn't work.... I think one problems may have been that I did the patches without turning off UAC.. I have vista... I forgot about that stupid little detail.... Idk I don't fly heli's much but I may get another one soon so kinda wanna practice.. I may go ahead and reinstall it and do everything slow and right... so hey no flyin till NOON :( haha
