RE: Rotoflow fuel tanks by J&L power products
Yes, I have them in 6 planes. They are all warbirds. I have been using them for 3 years now with no issues. They are sturdy. They are also heavy. If your a 3D guy or have a plane weight issue, these might not be for you.

RE: please identify this engine
ORIGINAL: larry@coyotenet The nice thing about the Chinese engines is you get the pleasure of replacing them every couple years! A flying buddy just had his DLE 55 break the top of the piston off at the ring groove!! Less than 1 gallon of fuel through it! He has flown gas for years with ZDZ and Zenoah engines with no problems. I am sure that the EVRA will still be running long after the Chinese engines have been remelted and resold, but it isn't nearly as trendy. As you may notice I am not a big fan of the clone engines. Larry
It's always possible to get a bad engine. I have 3 DLE 55's. Combined more than 200 flights. Of the dozen of more pilots in our club with DLE's none has experience an engine failure. From my experience, DLE is just a reliable as Zenoah, Quadra ( I have a 35 with serveral hundred flights).Again it is always possible to get a bad engine, but I would not condemn all DLE's on the basis of what happened to your friend.

Air Valve suggestion?
I need a new air filling Schrader valve for my air retracts. Does anyone have a suggestion for one other than Robarts. Robarts works, but I wondering if anyone is using an other brand. Chris923

OS Gas is fine, but very pricey. If you want it all in the cowel, OS, DLE 55 or 3w55 would work well. The dle is almost as reliable as a G62 ( G62 has a longer track record) Chris923

Q-41 3.2 hp G62 4.75 hp 3w55 5.4 hp You will have to decide if you want to pay for the extra HP, you can get used G62 around 300.00, new 450.00 I saw some used 3w's in a similar price range on RCU. I just don't know about there reliability. a G62 is bullet proof. Chris923

RE: US 41 mount to a Byron P-51 reduction drive
I been there and done that, US41 to Heavy and not enough power to pull the reduction drive. You need at least the Byron 40, or the Byron Mustang 50. The Orginal Byrons came with a Quadra 35, it has more power than a US 41. The 35 will barely fly it. I spend many hours and $ trying to marry the reduction drive to several engines, never had a good result. Chris923
