Robin, Karine, Mary and I would like to thank you so very much. I know the weather wasn't the best we still had an amazing time! Probably one of the smoothest runways I ever had the privilege to fly off of. It feels real good to have an event practically in my back yard! Looking forward to next year as well! A great location very close to the border that I'm sure will attract more of my US buddies! We hope you can make it down to the Plum Island Jet Rally in a couple of weeks for a little R&R...... Chris

Robin, I too would like to attend your Jet Rally, however Liberty Bell is one I connot miss! New England has not been announced yet but is usually two weeks after Liberty Bell making it good for the 10,11,12 weekend. I think Michigan Jets has enough distance that you don't have to worry about conflicting dates. Chris

Thanks very much guys. The strut details were created from scratch. Avonds now sells a scale detail kit for the nose and main gear struts. Would of saved me a lot of time.....oh well I'm kind of a time murderer when it comes to my planes anyhow... Chris

David, I was going to tap into the brakes for air but, had considered a dedicated air supply and for the reasons you mentioned I may do just that. Guys, I've mixed the strut with throttle for take off. Do you leave the strut extended for landing or do you let the air out when the gear is down? I could mix it to sink back down when I pull the chute. What do you think? Thanks, Chris

Thanks to Rick, Erik and crew for anouther superb Air Show! The perfect combination of venue, people, outstanding weather will keep me coming back year after year! And yes, the grass is a non issue. For me, it's what flying at Hamburg is all about. Can't beat the huge fly over area either! Chris
