RE: Traxxas T MAXX- So far so bAD!!! Help please!!!
I also debated selling my nitro t-maxx 3.3 I have two e-maxx well my brother hasn't used it in 2 yrs so its basically mine which is the waterproof one and the other is brushless. Most of the time I only use my brushless just because of how easy it is and the power is just ridiculous. I use the other maxx for anything with water mud or especially deep snow. But there is somehing about nitro that keeps me from selling it may be the smell and the noise and all the attention it gets. I always have little kids coming out to watch it go up and down the street and in my front yard. But nitro has its headaches with always tunning it and ignitors and the price of fuel is always going up. Since your a newbie I would recommend may be trading in your nitro for electric just so its easier and so you can drive right away.

RE: What is a good lipo charger
Thanks for the info. Does anybody have a specific break in method for lipos or is there no need to break them in or a optimal charge rate to charge for the first time since i will be getting new ones hopefully today.

How do you measure the internal resistance because I have lipos coming in the mail would be good to know and instead of buying a new charger I will save the money and get a nice one so I just ordered another balancer.

RE: What is a good lipo charger
Yea i was looking at all thoes chargers but most of them only charge at either 5 or 10 amps my charger charges 2 batteries at 5 amps each which is 10 amps basically the only difference i see is there are more programing features. I want to be able to fast charge my 5000mah lipos at a higher rate of 1c.

RE: What is a good lipo charger
I am not sure of the exact specs but i know my charger has two charging ports that each charge at 5amps so a total of 10 and can discharge at 4 amps it also can charge up to 3s lipo but it had no balancer so i bought an external one. The batteries i have now can charge up to a 8C rate and there 5000mah so i think i am only charging at 1C when charging each battery at 5amps.

RE: Help me make my GF happy! New engine and a new T-Maxx
I wish my girlfriend was into rc trucks and boats I have both and love playing with them ive been trying to get her into them she just doest seem to see the fun in it and gets borded of them easy and always complains when i want to use them how did you get your girl into it? If you can definetly get her truck so you guys can share a hobby together. But I like my t-maxx 3.3 i blew my engine being stupid about a year ago and I found a new one for under a $100 bucks on ebay so i thought it was a good option at the time traxxas wanted $125 plus i had to pay to ship my old one through their replacement program so I thought it was the cheapest option. A side note ive bought all my upgraded parts from ebay never any problems and way cheaper than tower hobbies or LHS or any other website.

RE: E-maxx Battery Question?
The only reason I want the two cell lipos is that I have another e-maxx that has the evx2 and titan motors which I know cant handle 3 cell lipos. I mostly use this e-maxx for bashing in the rain snow and mud since it is waterproof. I also know there is videos that show you how to waterproof your MM but doesn't that void your warranty?

Villian ex esc help
hi, I have an older villian ex and the motors are starting to wear down but i have an emaxx that i am about to replace for a brushless set up. I was wondering if i can transfer the motors from my emaxx and the esc to the villian. I kno the old esc had water cooling would it overheat if i had it in the boat my reason for switching esc is cause i want to run 7 cell batts and the old esc is only rated for 14.4v and not the 16.8 that the emaxx esc is cabable of handling.
