RE: Vertigo Performance Hex Drive Bell/Pinion (HPI Baja 5B/5T)
not talking clutch bearings, but good point so a none rubber sealed bearing will not matter all that much? Talking about the setup you were positivitly talking about in the other thread. (TR and Integy)

RE: Baja5B owners start saving, 2speed will be here
my question is why does it have to fit the stock bell? So that you other aftermarket compaines can make money on it too? Brice is the only one really trying to make this work, so why not allow him to make it work on his own bell? Brice, I hope you can make this work! Forget about making it work with what is allready out there, if you make it they will buy it!

RE: Integys new HD Clutch for the HPI Baja
Well I was looking at the vertigo setup, but as long as the man himself says it looks as good as the TR setup. Pretty much made up my mind, as we all know the TR setup is the best of the best! But I will still wait for people to reveiw this new setup the do REALLY OWN it to step in.

RE: engine probs
best I can think of is there is rather not enough compression or the spark is very weak. Sounds like there is fuel going through, just no fire! The timming can go off, but that would mean that the flywheel key striped.

RE: engine probs
sorry for late reply, was away. Checking the spark plug spark outside the engine is one thing, whats happening inside is another. For the coil take it off and have it checked at a local small engines shop(lawn mower repair shop) that should cost nothing if the shop is any good. To gap the coil, most just use a cigert carton. Or you could find a feeler gauge set with a copper feeler gauge, both get you within the ball park.

RE: good idle...stalling on throttle!!!
did it sit with gas in it? you say its 2 years old but only ran for around 20 minutes. My guess would be go after fuel lines/filter, then move onto the carb. Old gas is a bad thing

RE: Everyone line up for
there have been many other companies that have come out with a 2.4ghz radio offered with a rtr. An 1/18th scale I bought 2 plus years ago came with a 2.4ghz radio! The 2.4ghz radios are the future of the hobby, I hope soon that you wont even be able to buy an fm radio!

RE: NEW PRODUCT RELEASE Newly revised Vertigo Front axle extenders
Great news, I am looking into buying a set of extenders. I've narowed it down to these or GBE's extenders. Couple questions, what grade aluminum are these made from? Then those holes above the pin, do they go all the way through?

RE: proline is making graphite chasssis for bajas
I just picked up a used hpi baja, it has a vertigo front shock tower I think. The front arms are toast, I was looking at getting RPM front arms. Do they really need to be modified to be used with that tower? Damn cant companies make parts to work with stock, or stock fitting parts work together! Thinking I should have bought a Redcat or something else. And damn if this chasis is really only going to be 150 ish, I'm all over it!

RE: carson broke?
well then, take the clutch support off, then the clutch bell. I dont know what kind of clutch is back there, but if its the 2 shoe normal type. I could almost bet a spring is broken back there. If so its a cheap fix and you will be running again very soon.
