RE: Aurora 9Ch, Spectra Pro & Optima - FAQ & Undocumented Features - Mixes, Setups, Tips.
I bought my Aurora earlier this Spring. Gave it a password ( version 1.07 ). I do not remember my password. Have tried everything I can think of for an hour. Now what do I do? Thank you in advance.

Want aural altitude telemetry
Mark my words, some day we will have to keep our planes below 500' agl. I really don't know WHY we need to go higher anyhow. But is t here any system of any kind that can TELL me while I am flying my altitude? I don't want to have to look away from my plane to see, and I don't want to have to rely on someone else reading for me while I am flying. Help? Thank you inn advance.

RE: Wallace Gear for WM J-3 Cub ARF….
I have dealt with this company several times, and have never been disappointed. cublandinggear.com has even at times called me personally to make sure I would get what I wanted. I have even used their gear on a Tiger Moth by turning the gear 180*. I highly recommend this company. Cheaper than Robart and high customer satisfaction goals.

RE: Corrugated ailerons/elevators
Hi Les, The reason for the corrugations on the Cessna surfaces is to reduce weight and at the same time increase strength of the sheet metal.the sheet metal is very thin but the corrugations are very ueffactive.

Multiengine telemetry
Wondering if anyone knows of this being available? I have this fantasy of flying my 421 and when an engine fails i would hear " right rudder" coming from my transmitter. Also wouldn't it be possible to have telemetry tell you when you were flying above a determined altitude? An exciting time for radio progress. Thank You in advance.

I have sevral multiengine planes I will be flying next year. Wondering if any of the telemetry systems have the ability to indicate both engines' RPM, so that I can detect and engine out coming and WHICH one, thereby applying the proper rudder. Thank you in advance.

Brazing vs Silver soldering
I want to do one or the other for some simple music wire landing gear. Which is better? Is either easier than the other? I have some brazing rod with flux coating and would use my butane torch, or try and use the torch with the silver solder. Thank You in advance for your opinions.

RE: Green models 120 Tiger Moth
I had the Nitroplanes version, which again I believe is the same plane. For landing gear, I bought "Cubnuts" landing gear and installed the gear reversed from what it would be on a Cub. Looked good and VERY functional. Magnum 1.2 fs for an engine. Super flyer. Lost it due to battery failure, my fault. I do have a replacement I bought on fleabay.

RE: 1/4 Scale Cub Landing gear upgrade?
Wrangler you will probably have to email thecubnut to get to communicate with them. I have had their gear on 2 planes (Super Cub and Tiger Moth), and I can vouch for their ruggedness and function. Absolutely worth the money. Giive them the dimensions they ask for and you will not be disappointed.

I know that somewhere someone knows where one can get these allen head bolt knobs. They slip right over the allen head bolt, and make turning the bolt by hand easy. I know they are not for engine mountng, but I would like to use them on my wings to hold them on to the fuselage, instead of fighting with an allen wrench. Anyone's help is certainly appreciated.

Benn following this thread, even though I am building a 1/3 Cessna 170, I have found many tips and techniques here. Thank You all for your help. I find the 170 and Bird Dog have a lot in common. As such, can anyone tell me the usual diameter of the round access panels used on the BD, and I am guessing 6 screws per panel? Can anyone point me to a diagram of where these panels are located on the wing of the BD? Thanks again
